As previously indicate in other posts, it is difficult to find as there is little in the way of signage onto the steep gravel driveway to the property gate. Use Google satellite and street views to get a better idea of what to look for when approaching the turnoff to the driveway. The grounds are a cross between modern farm...

It's a bit tricky to find, but Google-maps is correct - a small grubble dirt road down and the first of the host we meet i an angry little "Milou" - the owners dog. After that, paradise opens. Lovley little rooms with TV, kitchen and fridge. Why you would do that - the dinner we had was a absolut master-piece....

My first ever experience of Italian hospitality was had at Borga Fontanile a charming B&B just outside the quaint town of Baschi. Upon arrival we were met by out host Domenico, a welcoming and friendly man who prepared a wonderful lunch of pasta and lamb cutlets for us. The accommodation is rustic and unpretentious, my 2 friends and I all...

I was looking for a place with a pool near Orvieto. Borgo Fontanile was the perfect choice, less than ten minutes away from Orvieto. Paola and Domenico are very gracious and hospitable hosts. Paola does the cooking and Domenico, besides tending to the animals and farm, serves the food in the open-sided dining room. Although the place is a little...

Paola and Domenico were great hosts and opened their home to my family during our 2 night stay. Be sure to get good directions as the actual B&B can be easily driven past the first time (ok, I did this). When we first drove down the steep hill, I admit that I was questioning whether I had made a correct...

It's hard to explain how wonderful this place is and how wonderfully we were treated by Paola and Domenico...we were not guests but family that are given anything our tummies and hearts desired without a second thought. The rooms are comfortable, charming, and thoughtful. Wifi is accessible through out the place and laundry available upon request. The home made breakfast...

If you want to visit relatives in Italy but don't have any, this is the place to go. Paola and Domenico, who own and run Borgo Fontanile, are the warmest, kindest, most talented people we've met on our 6 week trip in Italy and our stay with them is our fondest memory. My husband and my 4 month old son...

Definitely call ahead and request dinner, you will have one of the best meals of your life. We didn't, and they still threw together an amazing ALL homemade meal. Tomato/cheese/meat was all form there. Paolo and Domenico run the place, and you are part of their home. Breakfast, too, was all homemade, just a special experience. You'll stay in your...

After seeing the reviews on Trip Advisor, we contacted Borgo Fontanile via email prior to our arrival to arrange a day-long cooking class while we were in Orvieto. It turns out that Veila is no longer teaching the class and the owners of Borgo Fontanile, Paola and Domenico, were our hosts for the day. Paola picked us up at our...
