Well we landed on our feet here. Stunning views. Well appointed rooms and hotel generally. Really helpful staff. Felt very Covid safe. The restaurant food was very good indeed both evening and breakfast. Can't praise them enough.
Couldn’t fault this gorgeous family run hotel. The view was stunning, a nice decking area to sit out and the furniture and decor had recently been updated. Food was gorgeous both breakfast and evening meal. Andy was a great host would definitely recommend this little gem
Spent a couple of nights here in this friendly little hotel. Excellent outside spaces to sit should you be lucky enough to be there while the sun is shining, and very comfortable lounge to sit in if it isn’t!! Small bedrooms but with everything you’d need and modern bathrooms both of which are spotlessly clean. New rules in place to help with minimising COVID spread but totally understandable and reassuring to know they’re doing their best for their guests. Spacing of seats in the lounge and tables in the dining room makes for less ambience, and placing breakfast order the night before helps the kitchen to minimise contact with guests. Dinner was good with decent choice for each course and views from the dining room over the garden and the sea were lovely. Andy is well suited to his front of house position as he was always on duty and couldn’t do enough to help you, he answered queries, sorted bills, served food and manned the bar. The hotel is well situated for visiting Kyle of lochalsh and the Skye bridge and I would most definitely return. …
When we stayed there on the night of July 31,2019; though no dinner service was available, we were given great recommendations. The room and bathroom were spic and span. Next morning we had to leave early to catch our 8.40 ferry from Armadale. The manager served us breakfast early. His cute 3-4 year old son brought our toasts! Should have stayed here through out our visit of Isle of Skye.
We booked here for one night and booked an evening meal too. The room is smaller than some other places but perfectly adequate for what you need, very tastefully decorated. We were at the back of the hotel so didn’t get a nice view but given we weren’t there for long it didn’t matter. We were given the evening meal and breakfast menus on arrival and asked to complete and return, this helps to speed up the service and saves time in the restaurant. The meals were lovely, I had pan seared duck and my Husband had seafood linguine followed by Cranachan. Portion sizes were generous. Breakfast was lovely, again very generous portion sizes, I couldn’t finish mine and there was a lovely elderly gentleman who apologised as he couldn’t finish his either. It is a little more expensive than some other places but it’s in a lovely spot and the service was second to none. Will definitely be back…
