Kintail Lodge Hotel is your home away from home in the beautiful Scottish Highlands. We are currently undertaking a refurbishment programme to restore the hotel to its former glory with some new additions. We have designed the scheme so that half of the hotel bedrooms and the Highland Pub and Bar remain open and are unaffected by the works programme. Our Highland Pub is popular with both locals and visitors and offers a varied menu with homemade, locally sourced produce. Vegetarian and Vegan options also available
The upgrade to our reception area, sitting room, summer room and restaurant are scheduled to be completed and a new kitchen installed by 1st August 2020,but due to the pandemic this has been delayed. Up until completion of our upgrade, we will be serving breakfast in our Highland Pub. We apologise that we cannot accommodate any weddings until late summer 2021.When we will be able to accommodate weddings of up to 50 people and meetings up to 30 people in 2021.
Our Wee Bun House Grab and Go is open Monday - Friday
If you want a taste of good old highland hospitality, kintail lodge is the place to be! I can’t thank the “amazing” Helen & her Wonderful team enough. From the minute we arrived all 22 of us had a brilliant time. My brother & sister in law got married at Eilean Donan castle & decided to have the reception at the hotel, along with us all staying there. I arrived on the Thursday & stayed till monday. The food delicious, scenery Ive seen nothing more beautiful & the team absolutely brilliant. Nothing is ever too much trouble, infact these guys are the best. This wedding is one I will never forget, it was perfect, everything the happy couple wanted plus more. The whole weekend was an amazing experience. I did shed a tear when it was time to leave kintail lodge & say bye to the team.
After a week of torrential rain on my backpacking trip, I was so relieved that Helen, the manager could book me in for 2 nights at very short notice. The room was extremely comfortable and clean, with a bed that was perfect for me. The breakfasts were very good, as were the dinners. Helen and the staff team were very welcoming and helpful. A very pleasant couple of days stay. Thank you.
We really enjoyed dining at this establishment. We particulary liked both the food and the warm welcome and service from the staff. Staff were attentive and friendly and prices we felt were fair Heartily recommend
After a long drive- made longer thanks to road works- we finally arrived. Helen and the team looked after our every need from the moment we walked through the door. Room was comfortable, but occasionally got quite hot through the night. View across the loch was stunning. There is a small shop on site (the Bun House) where you can buy sandwiches, pastries, tea and coffee. The refurbishment works are almost complete, and we are looking forward to trying the new accommodation. Restaurant is excellent- I recommend the curries, bar well-stocked and both are reasonably priced. Some great walks to enjoy, Eilean Donan Castle is nearby and Skye a short drive away. This was our third stay, and we are already planning our next one.
What a great stay we had at Kintail Lodge Hotel. After a day hiking up the Old Man of Storr on nearby Skye, Kintail Lodge was just the oasis we all needed. Kids and parents enjoyed a delicious meal in the delightful restaurant. Great food and fantastic service. Kids can recommend the fish and chips, adults the mackerel pate followed by grilled halloumi, and the goat cheese followed by lamb curry. The local staff also had useful intel on what to do in the area. Located right on the edge of the loch the views are truly beautiful and we all enjoyed a brisk walk along the beach in the morning, followed by coffee and hot chocolates in the hotel’s Wee Bun House before setting off to visit Eilean Donan Castle which is just around the corner, and continuing our North Coast 500 quest. We look forward to staying at Kintail Lodge Hotel again.…
