I would like to thank the staff at Blue Lake for making our stay so great. Very friendly and approachable. Catered to our every need. And also the food is delicious! The shuttle service is excellent. Would highly recommend staying here! And great views of the lake of course make the place incredible (see my photo).

We stayed there for a night during a ski trip to Hakuba Goryu and really liked it. Although it is a bit isolated, they offer free transportation to the ski area. The staff is friendly and helpful, things are clean and the food is good. On top of that, the view of the lake is stunning. Highly recommended!

I stayed with my friend to ski. It was very convenience to have transportations to/from ski slopes. Amazing view, friendly staff, yummy dinner. We are definitely coming back to this hotel next year again! I can only ask them to increase the portion of the food, Japanese portion is not enough for us, I guess...

I decided to stay at this hotel because of the photos in their website. They were no lies on those photos; I was amazed with the spectacular views. What a relaxing experience, I enjoyed good water and fresh air. Also, hotel staffs were professional and friendly, Only the thing I could ask for was, may be a little renovation of...

Staffs are All super nice! (But they are short of man power, therefore rooms are not perfectly clean. I felt sorry for them.) We enjoyed Edwins YOGA and Ninja play very much, and would like to come back for that again! Beautiful lake, nature, blue hydrangea, grannys apple pie. They will revitalize Your mind and body!

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Location wise, 25 minute drive to Happo ski fields, and 20 minutes to Echo Land - fair distance but not a problem as the hotel arranges all your lifts, free of charge. The staff are very friendly and next time I am in Japan I will surely return to Hotel Blue Lake.

Visited for three nights to go skiing in Happo. I can not express how much of a great time we had. Food was fresh and obviously looked like a ton of care was put into it. We had a Japanese style room with lake view. There were plenty of space to put our luggage. We also hired our skis and...

Although the ski resorts are 15/20 minutes away from the hotel, the hotel shuttle bus provide acheduled trips free of charge. The only minor inconvenience...

I stayed with my girl friend for 2 nights. It was a great experience! I love the location, this hotel locates just in front of the lake and we enjoyed the view of the stars at night, it was like we were in a planetarium, amazing! Shabu Shabu Dinner was our favorite, it was huge portion and very satisfying. (Healthy,...

Beautiful view of lake Aoki, almost like a scene from TV or a movie. Close to Hakuba, which is a popular place in winter. Should improve meal choice and rooms are a bit old. Could do with Japanese hot spring bath.
