My wife and I had our 1st ski trip to Nagano on Jan 2017, and we are fortunate to stay at this lovely B&B ran by very warm and friendly couple at Akakura. She promptly picked us up from MyokoKogen station (about 6km away) after we made a call to them from the station. She given us a spacious private...

Stayed here for three nights whilst skiing. The couple who run the lodge are very sweet and genuine. They are kind and very traditional and it's great to feel some culture when you arrive. You feel like you are staying with some Japanese in laws who make you welcome in their home it's fantastic. They drop you into town and...

I stayed here because I wanted a unique Japanese experience in Myoko Kogen, which isn't the most familiar mountain area to travel too but honestly worth it! There aren't many tourists here so you get a very cultural experience. The accommodation is cheap and the owners are lovely, they drive you and pick you up because the accommodation is 15...

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. They have different types of rooms, for 2, for 6, etc. 10min walking distance to center of akakura/lift, but owner will give free transportation to lifts every morning/evening. Good food and breakfast. Extremely friendly staff. Arigato

We had a great stay here over 4 nights. The owners were very helpful and were always available to help with queries or travel plans. Our breakfast was delicious (and expansive!). Its a 15 min walk into town/ski fields but owners are happy to drop you off/collect each day. The couple even gave us a insight into Japanese culture at...

Mont Cervin is a great pension in Myoko Kogen I spent 9 days here skiing staying in one of the dorm rooms. The pension was tidy and clean with a good mix of western and Japanese guests. The facilities are good (plenty of ski storage, a nice dining room to relax in, good wifi throughout) and the breakfast hearty and...

We stayed here for 4 nights to experience a skiing village in winter. Mont Cervin Pension is like an English style Japanese Bed and Breakfast that also serves evening meals. The owners could not have been more friendly and helpful, driving us to and from the train and village if we didn't want to walk. There is a choice of...

The good thing about Myoko is that it's mostly untouched by foreigners and operated fully by locals. Mont Cervin is a great lodge for a very reasonable price in the heard of the resort. The owners are very friendly and speak english well, if you need that sort of thing :)
