I had the pleasure of staying at Michael and Tamami’s Myoko Mountain Lodge for two nights when climbing Mt Kurohime, and I could not have stayed at a warmer, friendlier, and more enjoyable Lodge! Michael & Tamami are the most gracious and attentive hosts I could’ve hoped for, the food is absolutely amazing, and the conversations with Michael are always a laugh! I will definitely be coming back, and I can’t recommend choosing Myoko Mountain Lodge enough for anyone’s stay in Myoko. Five stars!

I have stayed a Myoko Mountain Lodge twice and both times it was a marvelous experience. Michael and Tamami, the couple who run the lodge are warm and welcoming. Tamami's cooking is wonderful; Michael is always willing to pick you up or send you to the station or the ski fields. The atmosphere in the dining and lounge area is warm and cozy, and a great place to meet other guests from around the world. The lodge is sparkling clean, tastefully decorated, and run very efficiently. It is located about 10 minutes' walk from Akakura Kanko ski resort, and by car 5 minutes to Akakura Onsen village and ski area, 5 to 10 minutes to Ikenodaira ski area and 10 to 15 minutes to Suginohara ski area.

The best ski accomodation experience I have had anywhere in the world. Flawless service, attention to detail and staggeringly good meals and support services. Michael and Tamami-San host the best accomodation option in Myoko-Kogen by a country mile.

As soon as you step into the lodge Michael and Tamami make you feel part of the family. Thanks to their support and advices our trip has been so much easier and enjoyable. The owners didn't spare any time and efforts to help us in every way, from restaurant reservation, bike mechanic, very early breakfast, last minute dinner, shuttle, etc... By far the best service I've got in an hotel. The place is very clean, very well maintained, in a good location, nothing missing, flawless experience, great and friendly owners.

We came to Myoko to join a cycling event so booked a couple of nights at the Lodge. It was a great choice ! Michael and Tamami went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The place is super well run and maintained and the service is really friendly and personal. I would surely recommend staying at the Myoko Mountain Lodge.
