We have been staying in this hotel for years as the Turkish National Team. The hotel is extremely comfortable and they do their job professionally. The food, room, spa center are unique. I would like to thank the national team for making us feel at home.
We were in the hotel for a week with my colleagues during March 2021. The servise was exellent, everything is clean and cosy, good wi-fi, spa centre and some extra compliments for the chf. We had breakfast and dinner and it was way better than in any restaurant. 10 out 10
I stayed here for 2 cross-country ski races in January 2020. It was a very comfortable, convenient hotel. The bus service to access Obertilliach and Heinfels is convenient and the stop is located right across the street from the hotel. I am from the USA and I really appreciated that the hotel ski/wax room had a waxing table and a ski waxing iron. I didn't bring the right outlet adapters for my own equipment but the provided iron allowed me to work on my skis. The only issue with this hotel is that it doesn't serve dinner, so you will need to go elsewhere to eat in the evenings. There is a meal-share agreement with a hotel up the street that I used 2 nights, or you can take the bus to Obertilliach or Heinfels. The hotel is secluded, quiet and has great views of the mountains.
I stayed here out of season, because of a business trip. The personal service was magnificent and friendly. Also the view during breakfast was impressing. The owners are friendly and service-orientated. The interior is a little bit outdated but in good state.
We had a wonderful stay. The room was perfect - a good size with a separate seating area, an amazing balcony with excellent views and a bed that comfortably fit myself and my 6ft 4 husband. Andre was a wonderful host, able to advise on walks and activities. We enjoyed an excellent full day hike. Breakfast was lovely. Highly recommended.
We have just departed following a really excellent short break of two nights at the Panorama Cis hotel in Kartitsch. The breakfast is formidable with locally roasted coffee and milk from the farmer next door. We undertook an evening walk on our first day at owner Andre's suggestion which was a highlight and then a long hike on the second day taking in several peaks and a stunning lake. We had dinner in the pub at St Oswald on both evenings where the salads (Greek and Milanese) are to be recommended. All in all a delightful location and excellent hosting.
We really loved our stay at Hotel CIS! Andre was very nice and we felt us very warmly welcome during our stay. Room was very clean and spacious. This is perfect place for relaxing, environment was very quiet and scenery from window was absolutely beautiful. Also beds were excellent. We had reserved a gluten-free diet for one of us and even it was not a challenge for Andre. Food was simply excellent! And when talking about wines, it's hard to believe, you can find a better place anywhere. Andre seems to know everything about wines and he found perfect combination for every meal accompanied with very interesting stories about their origin. For cross-country skier the Hochpustertal area is a paradise and one important thing for sport people is that there is very good service room in basement floor in the hotel, where you can storage and dry your equipment. Last but not least - Sauna. For Finnish people it was a perfect way to relax after an active day. We can approve, the Finnish sauna in Hotel CIS is a real Finnish sauna!…
We have wanted to visit Andre Cis and his parents since meeting him 4 years ago in Italy. The property is wonderful with comfortable rooms, beautiful views and charming hosts. Andre's folks turn out truly gourmet food from their kitchen which are matched by wonderful wine pairings (we tried only Austrian wines). The area is special and scenic with wonderful hiking right from the hotel or with short drives to starting points. The hotel is dog friendly and has a wonderful spa center downstairs which we did not use, but toured. Highly recommended for its charm, its charming hosts and the gourmet experience!
We came back to this hotel after a wonderful stay in 2016. It was just the same - great food and wine, very comfortable room and extremely helpful owners. The walking is brilliant and on the day when the weather was unreliable we explored more of the beautiful valley. We plan to return again soon.
The personnel is extremely friendly. The manager Andre' speaks good Italian too, and is quite knowledgeable about excursions and shopping opportunities in the surroundings. Food is quite good; in certain occasions it reaches the level of an exceptional gourmet experience. The size of portions is perfect: generous without exaggeration. Rooms are wide and comfortable. The sauna wellness area is remarkably pleasant; the addition of a whirlpool would make it perfect. Be warned that the main street passes right in front of the hotel. Vehicle traffic is scarce, but it makes checking on toddlers necessary. Prices are good.
