Brilliant guesthouse and one of the best meals I've ever eaten in Japan. Great location and fab hostess who spoke little English but was able to explain the 9-couse meal. I would highly recommend, a truly great find!

Traditional (I think) Japanese inn. Our room was spacious and lovely and in traditional Japanese style, with mats on the floor and a low table, and futon mattresses and there were even kimonos. Large en-suite bathroom. We had a superb gourmet dinner at the guesthouse (ca 7 dishes). The friendly, elderly lady in the guest house does not really speak...

We stayed 2 nights in this guesthouse. , Unfortunatly we couldn't booking a room in Japanese-style,(fully booked) and we booked a western style's room. The room was clean, but very small for 4 peoples with 4 bags , and the bathroom was tiny. . shame because the guesthouse is charming and well located in the island The reception was friendly...

This Ryokan is nice. Good location. You can easily walk to the Shinto Shrine and the Daishoin temple. The room, occidental style, was rather old and not too large. So the bathroom was. The dinner was ok. Maybe we could have enjoyed more if the waitress, who was really very nice, would have spoken a little more English in order...

We stayed in this ryokan our first night in Miyajima. It was centrally located and easy to find. The hosts were very nice and friendly, although they did not speak very much English. The room was small, but sufficient enough for two people. The real delight however was the food, which was traditional and delicious. We had around 12 dishes...

The location of this guest house is great - really close to the ferry port (5 minute walk at most) and easy to find. It's also near to basically all the main attractions on Miyajima so if you're planning to go hiking and/or see the shrines and temples, you can get ahead of the crowds by staying here and won't...

We had a nice stay here, staff was super friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable, conveniently located (5 minute walk from ferry port). Only negative point is the breakfast. We paid 1000 yen per person, all we got was a spoon of yoghurt with a strawberry and a small scrambled egg with a piece of bread. This didn't fill our...

We stayed for one night - decent sized room, clean. We felt it was quite expensive compared to other places we stayed in Japan. Nice to be provided with yukata (dressing gown type thing) to wear around the ryokan. Excellent dinner in their dining room - lots of different courses beautifully presented (although not much explanation of what everything was)....
