We arrived in the evening after flying in from Kumamoto. The staff were extremely kind, pleasant, organized during check-in which went very well and was quick. We are a Bluegrass Band from America, traveling throughout Japan performing concerts. Tokyo was our first concert after our arrival from San Francisco. Our rooms are very nice, I have a double room on...

If you go Osaka-Kobe (and even Kyoto) area via KIX airport arrival, this hotel usage may be very good choice for u this is because 1. Good hotel quality to stay - including sauna, spa, optional Kobe beef meals 2. Easy access if you use MK shuttle - AP to door is just 20USD - which is much easy for...

Thank you so much for taking the time to the review our hotel. Your recommendation is greatly appreciated. We are delighted to hear that our location suited your needs and you enjoyed Japanese cuisine nearby throughout your stay. Did you try our Kobe beef, too? We hope you had it and you like it. We live in the area near this hotel and several times have lodged visitors here. Ashiya is only a 15-minute train ride to Osaka, 10 minutes to Kobe, 45 minutes to Kyoto, with JR Ashiya station right across the street from Takezono Hotel. Nice breakfast buffet. Larger than normal rooms for a hotel at this price. Very helpful and courteous...

We stayed there for the first time recommended by our sibling. The location is quite convenient directly connected with the JR Ashiya station within 2 min. The room was a standard twin which was clean and relatively spacious. You can choose a stay with breakfast and it was 8700 JPY for a night. The breakfast was a buffet style with...

The hotel is so convenient to the train station and the rooms are small but very comfortable. The area has many restaurants and nice shops. It has been four years since my last visit, but I can't wait to go back.

We stayed at this hotel back in January 2013. The hotel was located right in front of JR Ashiya station directly connected via a bridge. All staff were very polite and there was English speaking staff onsite which I found unusual in Japan. The room was pretty big and clean and most importantly wireless broadband was working very well in...

The Hotel Takezono Ashiya is directly across from the Ashiya train station. It is a business hotel or sleep-over hotel since there are few lodgings in this city, half way between Osaka and Kobe. You get basic accommodations, safe, quiet, reasonably clean hotel room that could be in any city. If you ask for a non-smoking room expect that perhaps...

Excellent hotel located just about 20 minutes (JR) train ride from Osaka. It is easily access to JR Ashiya station. Basically just walking across a bridge to the train station. My room was clean and comfortable. No complaint, but the staff in the reception can only understands little English. But this is not a major problem to me. They have...

I am 28 year old US graduate student who was working in Kobe, Japan. I was put up by my company for 2 weeks in a single, one bed room at Hotel Takezono. The hotel is literally connected to the JR West line, a shopping center, and very close to a gym. The hotel is right off the JR West...

“My room faced a large two way street and was whisper quiet and no one from every yelled or used their car horn. The train station was on the other side of the hotel, so the view was still nice, but not as nice as mine, as I could see the mountains and beautiful scenery.”
