HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 4 weeks ago via mobile

The service, the amenities, the location, and the food were absolutely amazing! There was also a small craft beer bar in the lobby which was nice for a nightcap. We unfortunately could only stay a night but if we ever find ourselves visiting Kinosaki again in the future, this place would definitely be on top of our list!

The location is perfect. It's right in the middle of town and the 7 onsens where you can go onsen hopping! They also brew their own beer which tasted very good. The room we had faced the canals where the all the activity goes on. It was an amazing experience and atmosphere where everyone strolls the street in a yutaka...

The onsen hotel is situated right in the middle of the 7 public onsens. They all at reasonable walking distances and you can get a chance to try out all of them if you have the time. We spent there for one night including both dinner and breakfast. The services are superb as the staffs are all very attentive and...

I have stayed in nicer ryokans but this one is nice and relatively affordable. Its location is ideal for people who want to visit all 7 onsen spas that the pass issued by the ryokan allows you to visit. Book the plan without meals. There are plenty of good food around.

As mentioned before by other guests, Yamamoto Ryokan is well run in an Onsen town worth while visiting. We enjoyed the ambiance in town and especially in the ryokan. Staff is very friendly and professional. Also helpful in choosing an Onsen that suits you. We did not have dinner at the ryokan as we are not big eaters and there...

Yamamotoya is perfectly situated in the center of Kinosaki Onsen about a five-minute walk from the train station. Since it is a small town, location might not seem that important, but when you decide to venture out in your yukata robe and geta wood sandals, you'll appreciate the proximity of the hot springs as you get used to walking in...

Yamamotoya is a traditional inn located in the heart of Kinsaki Onsen. The inn has 15 rooms facing the very picturesque river that runs through the town. The rooms, layout, and food are pretty much what you would expect for the price with Yamamotoya being in the low to mid priced range (Ryokans can be notoriously expensive). The room was...

This was a very classy ryokan hotel, so it was a little pricey in comparison with other ryokan we had stayed at; moreso when you note as well that meals are not included automatically - they are extra, and must be arranged for in advance. There are plenty of local restaurants to choose from within walking distance as alternative options...

Right in the middle of the seven public onsens overlooking the canal in a great location. The rooms are nothing special, but are clean and quiet. We didn't have a chance to try their food unfortunately with quite a number of restaurants nearby. Good value at $200 AUD/$150 US per night.

We had a lovely stay in this traditional ryokan. Warm and friendly. The location is good. It located at the heart of Kinosaki-onsen town and in between the 7 public bathhouses. Three down the road on the right and another three down the road on the left. Around 8 mins walk from train station. Once we came out from the...
