We staied for one night with dinner and breakfast included. The owners are extremely kindly, the room was clean and confortable, the food was very very good. We suggest a rest in this riokan in order to have a beautiful experience of the Jappan life.

We spent 2 nights at Kojinmari. Starting with hot green tea and snack. Then putting on Yukata and sightseeing around the town on the first night. I love full Japanese dinner and breakfast ... so yummy! The service is good. My family had a great time there. There is a private onsen in my room. They provide skincare, hair dryer,...

Kojinmari is a small & cosy ryokan. The owners were kind, helpful and made us feel like home. The food was great. It was a huge keiseki set with many fresh local products. The location was perfect, almost in the middle of this small city. You can walk to any bath houses in 5 to 10 minutes. The genuine hospitality...

We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast very much. Had crab and beef menu. We stayed in the Rin room which was only sufficient for sleeping but not to enjoy. The hosts were hospitable. They welcome our three year old child which was a relief.

I read tripadvisor reviews before making the reservation, but this place is beyond my expectation. It's a hidden gem in the town. Hosts are very friendly and hard working. My parents and I had the half crab and half beef dinner and a full breakfast. We were amazed by the quantity and quality of the food. It's a bargain to...

Booked the trip for my family. However, the experience didn't live up to the expectation, even a little bit unpleasant. Kojinmari was ranked No.4 out of all hotels. We didn't really understand. But the room condition wasn't so great, room decoration is nothing special, the two person Japanese style room feels closet-phobia. Dinner was just OK, we didn't have crab dinner,...

What a place! After a 9 day vacation staying in small traditional guesthouses to 5-star hotels, this small in inn in kinosaki onsen takes the cake! And eats it too; my partner and I agreed that the food was the best meal we had the entire trip (which including 3 Michelin star Nakamura). Stayed at the 'rin' suite on the...

A nice and charming little onsen town - was there during autumn and not so many tourists during week day. Tried one of the onsens there - was a great experience. You can buy a ticket for just 1 onsen or day pass to visit every onsen in the area. The ramen (noodle) shop at the corner - opposite the...

We have stayed at many "ryokans" over the years, and this rates as among the best. It was traditional, with attentive personal service, wonderful cuisine, a cordial atmosphere, and, of course, it was clean and neat. For the most part, this is a family owned and run "ryokan". The son, who does the food preparation and greeting, speaks English. However,...
