Traditional and exquisite! This hotel has traditional japanese tatami rooms which is very appropriate for the coming colder season. The food is superb! A spread of delicious seafood and meat shabu-shabu at night or in the morning will definitely make your day. while their onset is soothing enough after a day of sight seeing.

I was a bit skeptical upon arrival at the hotel particularly due to the overwhelming smell of sulfur that greeted us but they explained that this was due to the natural hot springs. I quickly got over the smell and enjoyed every bit of the experience. We could go into the hotel and even to our rooms without changing our... More

It is a mix of a traditional Japanese ryokan and a hotel. (You can wear your shoes to your room unlike typical ryokan that you take it off at the entrance hall) The staff were very warm and welcoming. The room was beautiful and very functional. It was a typical traditional room. Dinner was a feast. I really liked the... More

All the personal staff is very kind with us. There is a nice Onsen which is open until 2am and is both inside and outside. There is also a karaoke bar. Delicious food is served at dinner and breakfast, I ate everything!

The hotel is very nice and the staff was very kind and warm with us. It has a nice onsen in the 3rd floor, and they give you yukata and Japanese style sandals to relax inside/outside the area. The food there was amazing! Both dinner and breakfast.

This hotel was really nice!! I loved the traditional decor and the kind and courteous staff. The onsen was wonderful and very relaxing. Dinner and breakfast was so huge, with so much different flavours! I'd definitely recommend!!!!

From the relaxing onsen, I enjoyed sleeping in an authentic Japanese bedroom. The welcoming staff will treat yourself. The meal full of colors is meticulously arranged giving you the envy to stay more than a week end.

Big traditional hotel with large baths. Early check in was possible for me. Dinner is elaborate. Near to the train station. Some English is spoken here. Staff are very helpful. They will bring you to your room, try to explain everything, and get the yutaka of the right size. They will also give some suggestion on hiking routes. Price is... More
