It is a real budget hotel, you need to walk at least 15 mins to subway station @ Esaka and exit No 1-5 and turn left to the bridge and turn right to go down the stair and walk straight for min 10-15mins walk to reach the hotel. It is a quiet town but no worry, there's a 24 hours... More

The hotel was great, they give us an air purifier, and free coffee in the reception desk. But when i stay there the heater was too hot (cause i came in winter), so i'll open the window through the night.

I paid something like £23 a night to stay here and boy was it worth it. First of all, they have this really clever mechanism where you can raise your bed up to the ceiling so all of a sudden you have all this SPACE when you aren't sleeping. The luxury! I could have stayed there for days. It could... More

The GR Hotel Esaka is a typical case of getting what you paid for -- I paid under €30 per night for a single ensuite room, and so did not expect luxurious sprawling suites. What I got was a very small (small-even-for-Japan), but clean room. If you're used to travelling in Japan and are looking for a budget hotel that... More

The location of the hotel is quite far except the mini market around the corner. It took 7 minutes to walk to the nearest metro station. The room is really small and the sound insulation in the room is rally bad.

You have to walk 10/15 minutes from station....is ok if is not rainy ! Rooms are very small, you don't even know where to put the suitcases. But price and clean are ok.... Stuff is kind and gentle as all Japanese anyway!

This hotel has seen better days, pls do not stay here. Rooms are extremely small and not well maintained. There is hardly any space to keep your bags. Breakfast is average. Its about 20 min train ride away from Osaka. Do not stay here, bad place

Stayed a week, room was small but good enough since I was by myself. Haven't tried the bath on the 11th floor though and sauna was under maintenance. 7-eleven and supermarket 24h very close to the hotel so very convenient. 5 min walk from Esaka station which is on midosuji line so around 20 min from Namba, Dotonburi etc.. very... For the price it's a decent hotel to stay it if you're backpacking across japan. The rooms are quite small, however the beds are large enough to fit two larger Caucasians in them easily. The onsen was a nice touch and helps give you some insight into Japanese culture. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone working within a tight... More
