We have been to this campsite several times and have enjoyed it each and every time we have been.

Yes, it is basic, but that's what we personally like. Only issue we have come across is the showers being a bit hit and miss in temperature and pressure, but that's true of a lot of campsites. If you go during off peak hours as we like to call them (lunchtime onwards or from about 9pm onwards), then they're great. They keep them as clean as they can but I also think that some people have to take responsibility for themselves and not leave a mess behind either!

Washing up facilities available though I have never personally used these as prefer to boil the kettle and do it at the tent.

The owners Tom and Harry are brilliant and so friendly. I overheard one stay that someone had said their chair had broken and they offered them theirs for the night so long as they put it back when they left - Very kind. I love that you can have your dogs here at no extra charge and lots of people utilise this. Most are respectful of dogs on leads around the campsite too. There is a field next door to the main camping field that most people use but there are tonnes of local walks through South Downs etc too.

The field is flat and we haven't ever had a 'bad' pitch here - And we are in a tent so it's more noticeable for us. Fire pits available to rent and logs to buy, again we have always brought our own so haven't used this.

Great that there is a pizza van on weekends (haven't camped mid week so can't comment on this) which we have used a few times and enjoyed each time.

One review claims there is a motorway close by... It's the A27 and though busy, I have personally never heard this from the campsite! So please don't let that put you off.

Over all, we love it, and will continue to come back to Bramley Park :)

Arrived Friday 4.30pm with two young children and still spaces around the edge available. We went to the left side (you get shade in the afternoon/evening and the sunrise) which helped in the afternoon raging heat. Easy check in, loos were clean 95pc of the time and no queues for us, though I saw some people queuing for showers at busy times (why don't people time their shower at a better time?) Hot water all good.
The site is very flat and while there is a little road noise it's not a problem at all. Though the site says there is a limit on evening noise, people did not abide by it at all and music was still playing gone 12.30 on the Saturday night. There were a few family groups having birthday parties etc with loud voices. So if that annoys you bring ear plugs!
As there are no fixed pitches, it works brilliantly for larger tents. No electricity hook ups but they sell ice in the reception shop which could be used with cool boxes (plus very reasonably priced ice creams).
We had two pizzas on the Friday night (£21) which were very nice. The Polegate fisheries was a really good fish and chip shop and just a very short drive away.
We enjoyed a trip to Holywell beach for rock pooling at low tide and Abbots Wood to cool off and for a relaxing woodland walk, again just a short drive away.
While there are no play areas on site, there's one not far away, probably a 10 mins walk with young kids but our two were happy to play frisbee, football, butterfly chasing etc on the large field.
Only improvements I think this place could use is a really deep clean of the toilet block, the walls are starting to look grubby with lots of spider webs and stains etc which is a shame as the actual loos are okay. Plus a freezer block freezer would be really helpful.

Me and 6 friends came to camp at Bramley park and it was the best weekend! Great big camping field so pitches were perfect sizes, actual toilets and hot showers. Harry and Tom are great and can’t do enough for you! Great location as close to lovely walks and shops. Some great day outs in Eastbourne too. Will we will 100% be back to this amazing campsite! Thank you again Bramley Park Camping! X

Love this place, stayed last year and had to come back! Beautiful views and sunsets, very peaceful. Tom and Harry are lovely, very friendly and helpful. Saw a lady cleaning the shower's on her hands and knees this morning, they really try to keep it clean, trouble is some of the campers leave their rubbish in shower's toilets etc. Lots of bins, please people, put your rubbish in the right ones or they have to waste time sorting it! Dog friendly and lots of wonderful wildlife. Will be returning! Pub down the road, pizza van on site weekends!

The owners of this campsite made us feel welcome from the off. Always around in the morning and the evening they're eager to make sure everyone's happy and taken care of. They're a brand new enterprise for this year so they're in the process of developing the facilities but it's perfectly liveable for a family camping trip. You can pitch where you like, you're not far from the resorts of the Sussex coast and the site has a calm, laid back vibe. We'll be back.

We have just got back from a 4 night stay at Bramley Park Campsite. What a lovely place, the location itself was really nice and scenic, but the access to other places was also really great; walking distance to Polegate/Tesco Express/Harvester and easy to drive to places like Beachy Head, Eastbourne, Seaford and Drusillas to name a few.

The facilities were excellent and well maintained, they were cleaned frequently too. The showers were hot and powerful, just what we needed. The field we were staying in felt safe for my young children (3&5) and they enjoyed running around in it.

It got busy on the last night, due to lots of people enjoying the Jubilee, but this didn't detract from our enjoyment and it was still pretty quiet.

We chose this campsite as it was near to where we were doing the Mighty Hike for Macmillan Cancer Support - Alfriston to Eastbourne.
The campsite is a large field with some Glamping Pods at the back.
We were able to choose where we parked our campervan 🚐 and awning. Next to Reception was a pizza van, where we had two great handmade pizzas.
Both the toilets and showers were spotless and loads of hot water.
We hope to one back again.

The campsite is basically a big grass field. The grass is quite good for pitching. You can pitch wherever you want. The scenery around is nice, although the noise from the nearby motorway is quite important.

My main issue here are the facilities: for the ENTIRE campsite (I counted between 60 and 70 tents), there only are TWO toilets (one for men, one for women), on a tiny trailer, and the loo cubicle is so tiny you'll have to Houdini in and out of it. Also, the flushing was not working. The most uncomfortable toilets I've ever had to use in a campsite.

The showers are 4 or 5, in a sort of container nearby. You cannot control the water temperature and it was scorching hot.

We were looking for somewhere with scenic views and in an accessible location to camp in and this campsite matched just that! We had such a lovely stay, the site atmosphere was great, the hosts very helpful and welcoming. I cannot rate the care / service enough, the willingness to cater for us and being just a phone call away ensuring we had the best stay possible is a great asset. The mobile toilets occasionally got quite messy and ran out of paper etc but despite that it’s been such a lovely, relaxing stay. The site is calm, quiet and friendly making for a great quick getaway!

The 2 young owners were spot on from the start of our trip right up to the very end. Made us feel very welcome. Lovely location and perfectly clean facilities. The price for our 2 night stay was also 100% worth every penny. I’m sure our stay will be even better the next time we come back. Will be back for sure:)
