Just returned from a week at Anchor cottage. The location is fantastic for both fishing and visiting the shops. The house is very comfortable and exactly as described on the website. Our 2 boys enjoyed the board games which are available, and were able to fish safely from the

Many thanks for your very kind review and we are delighted that you had such a great holiday! Only sorry that we couldn't extend your stay by a couple of days as requested as you were having such a lovely time. Your comment regarding the housekeeping has been actioned. In particular, the oven was deep cleaned the same day that you made us aware that it was not up to our normal high standards. Just a small happy correction - the cost for a week in Anchor Cottage in August is £1475 all inclusive and the £150 difference to the £1625 quoted in your review is your fully refundable security deposit. We look forward to welcoming you back to either Anchor or Riverside Cottage before too long. Best wishes Nigel - Wroxham Cottages.

Loved this cottage, three generations went, myself & husband, my daughter & grandchildren. Everything was to hand, loads of space for us all. The teenagers found loads to do rowing, cycling etc. We hired a boat for all of us which was great fun & moored for lunch at the pub.

"Excellent value if just 3 or 4 in family! Don 't overlook it because of it 's size."
"All rooms were very comfortable"
"The double bedroom and bunks are facing the water - in the morning the sun was very bright (when out) and it wakes you early, if this is an issue choose the other two bedrooms. The double bed and two single beds are either side of the main bathroom and if someone uses it during the night/early morning there is noise from the fan for a while."
