I visited the restaurant Paradiso with my partner after the visit to the Genovese grotto. We had a lovely meal with a sea view. The waiter suggested we have the best fresh fish of the day and a local pasta made with tuna sauce. Very delicious!!! Simple and authentic, with good portions.

The hotel is situated right in the middle of the village and the room was large, clean and comfortable, part of an old building with the only restaurant on the island situated below, so was very convenient and the staff were friendly. The waiter, Tony is a real character and the service and food are wonderful.

While the restaurant has a lovely view the food left a lot to be desired. The food was not fresh, the swordfish when it arrived was not swordfish. Don't believe the signs that say a full menu for €20 it was extremely expensive. The local wine was watery. If your Smart you'll walk past Paradiso to the small Panini restaurant...

We stayed one night at Albergo Paradiso, and I can tell you that this name was badly chosen. The rooms are acceptable. We stayed in room number 4 which has access to a roof top from where you can see the sea. However the room was very small and the bathroom very basic. The members of the family who run...

We stayed for one night last week... food at dinner was very good... seafood, so if you are not a lover of all things fish might be difficult... do not stay downstairs near the 'splogliatoi' room... this is where all the servers sleep.... in and out until 1:30am banging the doors and calling out, air conditioning sounds like an 18...

We stayed one night to do the grotto tour the morning and found the room to be very simple, but adequate. Very clean, good shower, The people were very friendly, and it is a family run place where they can always find someone who speaks a little English. Breakfast was the typical minimal breakfast but dinner was fantastic! Can't complain...

“Pick a room upstairs and above the restaurant. If you eat in the restaurant make sure you establish that you are eating the 12 Euro meal or you will be railroaded into paying the 25 Euro meal even if you didn't choose it. The food is fantastic and good value for money, but communication is a bit of a problem as no one speaks much English.”
