Elegant, historic chateau in the Norman country on 200 acres surrounded by a protected national park. It's only been open to guest for about three seasons. Great place to relax. No TV, no phones in room. We were joined at breakfast by Guillaume whose family has owned the property for 800 years. Near D-Day sites.

The Chateau was beautiful, but the family was the best. They were so warm and inviting with a delightful little girl. Very helpful assistance to excellent restaurants. Easy access to WWII attractions. Thank you!

We truly felt that we were able to experience the elegance and beauty of a French Chateau situated in the countryside. The Chateau dates back hundreds of years but has been restored to excellent condition. The manager of the Chateau was extremely welcoming and accommodating to us, and took the time to explain the history of the Chateau. We really...

Wow! It was truly an amazing experience to stay in a family owned Chateau. All the paintings and a lot of the furniture have been in the family for hundreds of years. The hosts will take the time and tell you all the fun stories of the home.

We typically do not stay in B&B's, but could not find a hotel available for the dates of our trip. Our stay was very nice, and we appreciated the peaceful location of this castle. The directions from the hosts were very good; follow them, not your GPS. We had a large room with private bath. The bed was good with...

We loved staying in this chateau filled with history! The chateau was beautiful and our room was large and well decorated. There were horses grazing in the field behind our room. The location is convenient to many WWII sights and very close to the cute town of St. Mere Iglese.

This is the most beautiful chateau in its most natural state - everything is neat and clean - but not so renovated that you think you are in Disney World - this is authentic and timeless - time stands still here - it is beautiful and serene

Welcomed by our warm host after a long day of travelling, we were amazed by the building and driveway leading to it! We were swiftly checked in and shown around the property, taken to our first floor room overlooking the national park! Great spacious room with a very comfortable bed! Good wifi connection too! Very helpful host directed us to...

An authentic 1000 year old estate with out-buildings, including a chapel and family gravesite, in various states of repair. You can wander the grounds and mingle with the ghosts of centuries past. The hosts are very gracious and eager to help. our room and bed were very nice, but could use, perhaps, a luggage stand or table so as not...

The chateau is beautiful and very well kept. Guillaume and Anne-Christine helped us in everything we could need, very nice and polite. The house is really close to the Airborne Museum and Utah Beach. The gardens are amazing, the surroundings are wonderful. We only regret that we stayed only for two days.
