quiet location, short walk to Amstelveen Bus station, 5 euros seemed to be standard fare going anywhere, however best of both worlds hotel has lovely relaxed seating area with free tea/coffee all day.

What are the minimum requirements of a hotel room? A good night rest and a shower. This hotel delivered neither of both. Here’s why: 1. On this rather hot summer day the room was so hot that it was impossible to sleep in. I asked for a fan twice. They promised to bring one, but I never got any. (During...

The locations is superb – very close to the old town (Oude Dorp) of Amstelveen, a calm environment and a few very good restaurants just 5 minutes away. Public transportation (Amstelveen Bus station) 500 meters walk and will take you directly to Amsterdam down town. The service and breakfast are very satisfactory but the rooms, well, I stayed in one...

I have stayed here twice, once when I was attending a Pixar exhibition at the EXPO and again when I was attending a Dave Matthews Band concert at the Heineken Music Hall. What I like about the hotel is that it has parking, and is right off the motorway, It is a short walk from the bus station, COBRA and...

Small cosy hotel with big and clean rooms. Very good service and nice friendly people. Great location nearby the airport. Fantastic breakfast with a nice personal touch. Great variety of products to choose from.

A nice little place. But don't expect the same service as a 'chain' hotel. Service is sub-standard with staff going through a 'routine' and be careful of the term 'restaurant'. In the evening there is not one. The price is a little over the top and if it was more around the 50 Euro B&B price... It would be perfectly...

I stayed here a week and I'll go back the next time I'm in Amsterdam. The staff are helpful and the hotel is on a quiet residential road. It's not particularly close to a metro but the efficient bus service to the centre (no. 170) makes up for that. There are fantastic walks available in the woods nearby and I...

Spent 3 nights in this 'Hotel' and couldn't wait to get home. Chose it as being in the area I needed to be and expected a 3 star Hotel Restaurant. 3 star Hotel it wasn't and it had no Restaurant. On enquiry this was because the Chef had an accident in April and they had not found a replacement in...

This is described as a 3 star boutique hotel. It is neither of these. The room I was given was at the end of two and a half flights of very steep stairs with no lift. It was very small and beige throughout, but clean. The lighting was impossible to read by.There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms...

Just spent 4 nights here with my husband and adult daughter. We had a ground floor room at the back. There was plenty of room even with 3 full size single beds. The mattresses and pillows were memory foam and really comfortable. Bedding was clean as was the room. The decor is a bit dated but well kept. There was...
