In Santorini, the island of never-ending blue and the 4,000 years of civilization that provide an almost metaphysical aspect, in a unique atmosphere full of contrasts and mystery, full of images provoking the strongest of feelings, next to the picturesque village of Vlychada and just a few metres away from the black beach of Perivolos, inspired by the traditional Cycladean architecture, lies the brand new Sea Sound - White Katikies, a complex of luxurious residences and suites.

Paid $303.00 per day for “luxury”. No—it is a two star hotel.Quiet? Well it IS in the middle of no where with a useless beach, the shotguns being fired at 6 am by local hunters will jolt you out of bed however, if the roosters dont wake you at 3:30 am. Booked the “executive”

It’s a great place to stay unless you seek the bright lights and bars. We stayed in an apartment and it was light, cool, clean and well equipped. The housekeeping was brilliant with new sheets and towels each day. The pool was clean and so very warm. The food in the cafe was

Beautiful beach front property, secluded from civilization. Felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, which was great after 6 days on the go. But unless you were willing to pay for cab ( public transportation not an option for our group, but not sure there was a stop nearby

Hi! My experience staying at Sea Sound is that it is not close to the bus lines, but you can email them directly to verify and see what they say. If you only have 4 days and want to explore Santorini, I would recommend renting a small car for at least 1-2 days. You can get them inexpensively in most cases. It's worth it to get around and see all you want to see. If you were staying in Fira or Oia, the bus would be easier. But again, contact Sea Sound to confirm.

Hi there, I cannot answer all your questions as I was a guest here too. However I can understand your perplexity as to why the hotel reviews differ so much. I think a lot of it is expectation and what your ideal style of holidaying is. Personally, we liked this hotel very much, it is clean, roomy and very quiet. It has a lovely swimming pool and the breakfast does suit more the continental palate. Please read my full trip advisor review for a more in depth insight into this hotel. It is in a remote spot so a car is a must but only 5-10mins to restaurants and bars at pretty nearby resorts which you will not be disappointed by with plenty of choice. The beach is opposite and you can even find water sports if required. The hotel can arrange quad bikes if preferred and Thira, the capital is only 20mins away. Please don't worry, the staff are very accommodating, you only have to ask. Enjoy!
