We stayed one week in Villa Capodarco . We were a party of four, including two late teenagers. The Villa is really beautiful and very comfortable. It has magnificent gardens with a beautiful pool. Roberto is a very genial host and was very attentive at all times. Nothing was too much trouble for him. We really enjoyed our time thereand even the teens were very sorry to leave and already talking of going back.
The location is perfect, the attention from Roberto is excellent and the comfort is a plus. We really enjoyed our visit and I wish we could have stayed longer. Should we visit the area again, Villa Capodarco will be our first choice to stay.
My friend and I stayed at this beautiful villa for 4 nights in a part of Italy that is truly beautiful. The views are breathtaking, the Villa is just stunning and Roberto was very accommodating and made the whole time we stayed here wonderful. Robertos friendly manner, genuine interest and helpful hints was greatly received. Everyone was friendly, the Gardiner, ladies organising the breakfast, Roberto and the family dogs. The Room had a lovely sea view. Was clean, modern and very well air conditioned. I would very highly recommend and will be staying at Villa Capodarco again in the near future. Thank you for a wonderful stay Villa Capodarco.
We had the pleasure of staying here for four nights in late June . It's a beautiful oasis just in the hills above Porto San Giorgio. On arrival we had a very warm welcome from Roberto with a cold drink on the terrace. He was so helpful with advice on places to see and recommendations on restaurants. The room had its own entrance was extremely comfortable spacious had lovely extra touches like tea and coffee facilities and a mini bar. The gardens are magnificent and overlook the sea the pool is large and very pleasant on the warms days. The breakfast was excellent with fruits cheeses and lots of delicious home made cakes which were all enjoyed The highlight for me every morning was Robertos cappuccino it was one of the best I have ever had and I have had a few over the years. Don't miss it! All in all we really enjoyed our stay here would highly recommend it as a place to stay and look forward to returning again hopefully in the not too distant future.…
We were a party of of 2 couples and stayed 8 nights and were sad to leave. Even before we had left Rome, Roberto was in contact to make sure we had driving instructions so we didn't get lost. Upon arrival he showed us to our rooms and said "please join me on the terrace for a glass of wine" - which proved to be the start of a fabulous stay. Although the villa is not right on the coast the garden has been cleverly designed so that you do not see Lido de Fermo below but simply the Adriatic. Do try to get up early to see the sunrise over the sea; it was certainly spectacular when we were there. There are many things which make Villa Capodarco so special - some major and others simply attention to detail. Breakfast was taken on the terrace each morning and comprised a variety of fresh fruit, cereals, breads, meats, cheeses and cakes. Oh those cakes; homemade and delicious. In fact not only was the food home made it was also home grown (they even have their own olive oil available to purchase). There was a good range of teas in addition to excellent coffee. Tea was also available in the bedroom. The minibar was a good place to chill wine. A special feature is the free Spa Room which contains a Steam Room and Jacuzzi. The latter even has a reclining section where jets pummel feet, calves, thighs and lower and upper back simultaneously - pure bliss. The steam room also contained its own cold water shower spray. The bedroom and bathroom were beautifully presented. The shampoos etc were lime and coriander flavour - a nice touch. One thing I hate is finding out that when I bend over in the shower I've hit the shower controls and either changed the temperature or turned it off with my bum. Here the control lever is offset so no chance of that happening. The gardens and pool area are well maintained and equipped. Don't think B&B when you look at the description; think luxurious villa. Thank you Roberto for making our stay so enjoyable and thanks to Raul and your Mother and the little dog Zeus (pronounced Zayus) for keeping us so amused. The only thing to be wary of is getting a taxi down to Lido. If it comes from Porto San Gorgio you will be ripped off.…
