Detailed Reviews
Just wanted to give our honest feedback of the holiday for others to use for guidance on booking their own.
We booked through Snow-White Skiing as recommended by a friend. They did a great job and all was taken care of. The service was excellent and we had everything we needed.
The transfer minibus was waiting for us at the airport with a friendly helpful driver despite the flight being delayed due to bad weather in the uk. We had a nice drive to the hotel and after a 3 1/2 hrs were in the hotel. The hotel was clean, rooms well presented with new furniture and a plate full of sandwiches, fruit and water for each of us which was a nice thought.
The buffet in the restaurant was good, a large selection of food with most requirements covered which our kids loved. The luke warm food that Bulgaria serve too some getting used too though.
The next morning with ski's picked up from the Melina centre and we were away. The ability of the group was quickly ascertained with all levels catered for by friendly teachers.
The ski lifts were decent and better than i was expecting, some more modern than others but all seemed reliable and staff quick to help those who weren't confident in their use.
The evening meal was also fine, again a lot to choose from and selections that varied each day.
Staff at the hotel however have a bit to learn when it came to manners and friendliness, a few times i had to bite my tongue when i was far from impressed by their attitude although there were a large number of staff on hand to clear away any unused plates. Maybe the somewhat miserable staff is common but it is not like any country I've been too before where it is in the minority. There were exceptions to this rule however as some staff, namely the lady who greeted us daily at the restaurant and the female carer in the kids club was always lovely to deal.
The somewhat unfriendly, miserable staff seemed to also afflict other areas of the resort so i began to think it was more of a way of life than just hotel employees.
Over all we were very happy with the holiday and there was little to taint the experience.
Our only minor gripe was getting to the slopes every day, you either carry your gear to the hotel which is a 10 min walk from the slope and leave it in the hotel garage or you ski to the bottom and get a taxi, we couldn't find another viable alternative with young children. as the minibus was regularly full.
Taxi's were regular however and quite cheap.
Galina who was our contact at the resort was great though, she was just who you need when you didn't know where to go or what to do - this made things much easier to sort.
The Kindergarten as Melina also deserve a special mention as they did an excellent job of looking after our 4 year old all day, taking them out for dinner and getting them on ski's etc - highly recommended and very cheap too.
Overall we had a great time and would definitely go back with the same arrangements.

I have stayed here twice and both times have been very good overall. The half board food is of good quality (better in our opinion than others in the area). The restaurant is busy at peak times but we never failed to get a table and there were 8 of us eating together most of the time. The rooms are modern, clean and spacious with a large lobby for the usual ski paraphernalia. There is a ski wardrobe (best described as compact!) which does detract a little, it easily needs to be twice the size. The spa is lovely but do expect it to be busy at peak times (because its really nice and you will want to go back!), if you really want a long soak in the Jacuzzi finish a hour earlier and its normally empty! WiFi only really works in the lobby but there's plenty of 4G so we just hot spotted a phone. If you are travelling from UK/Ireland Snow White Skiing (Pippa Wilson) can do a hotel/ski pack/transfer deal that is very reasonable and efficiently organised, we have used them for Pamporovo on multiple occasions now.

Room Tip: Due to how the hotel is set into the mountain most rooms have a good view.

I haven't been at this hotel for a couple of years but was very disappointed at my last visit. We were friends and families for 5 days at the end of February and the hotel was pretty full. The SPA can accommodate max 2-3 apartments at a time, which we were aware of, but the restaurant was also very crawded, noisy and uncomfortable. Some of the staff at the reception, restaurant and the ski wardrobe were inattentive and careless with the attitude of- the customers do not have any other choice but to be there and use the facilities that the hotel can offer.
The advantages of the hotel are the location and the comfortable size of most of the apartments, but is not sufficient to keep customers returning.

That was my sixth time at this hotel. This time we stayed at room 206 . Room was cold no matter how heating works at maximum. Room was near ski room and exterior walls of the room was covered by snow . Wifi is so weak at this room. So i couldnt get healthy internet. At the end room was bad at all. And last thing , i used hotel’s web site for reservation . When i got check out they gave us no gift , but other quests were given qifts. Maybe they used booking.com.

The hotel is old and smells very bad. The rooms are not clean and the mattresses and pillows are not comfortable. I don’t know how is possible that. It’s shame, because the location is perfect.
The restaurant- barbecue next to the hotel is good and tasty.

Real great price performance. The staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast and food are diverse and sufficient. Something happens for everyone. The rooms are quite comfortable too. And the slopes aren’t far. I would definitely go a few more times.

We stayed 4 nights at two bedroom apartment. First of all the hotel personnel are far from kindness. They are rude and with long faces. They were not helpful at all. The apartment’s floor was filthy and never cleaned at all. The sheets and towels are old and never renewed at all. The jacuzzi area dld not seemed hygienic. The pool is very small. The only good thing about this hotel that it is close to the ski lifts.

As advertised, the Complex Kamelia is indeed ski-to-door, located on green/blue run no. 7 which takes you right down to Ski Centre One, to catch the ski lift up to Students area. Likewise, able to ski back down to the hotel down the same run (with some tight turns). All ski equipment can be hired from the hotel ski depot on level one (with hire charges billed directly to the room), plus tuition can also be arranged. Good storage area if taking own skis/boards/boots. The spa area is well worth a visit after a day on the slopes, for either a sauna / steam room with lovely views out onto the surrounding area. Can get busy at times, particulalry late afternoon when every one returns from the slopes. Do try the attached BBQ Restaurant. Great tasting food, good sized portions and reasonably priced. Hotel arranged transfers to/from Sofia for our trip, which worked out really well. Similar pricing to other companies that we had quotes from. Safe drivers, who will gladly stop off both travelling to the resort (to pick up essentials for the week (bread, water, etc.), and back to the airport as required. This was our third visit to Pamporovo as a group, previously staying at the Grand Monestary, and Snezhanka Hotel. Would recommend the Complex Kamelia, and would certainly return again.

The worst place that you can visit in Pamporovo based on the assessment referred by various applications for holidays. Extremely poor hygiene and cleaning rooms, terrible food in the restaurant, categorically wrong and rude service staff. If you think that there is a SPA - there is no SPA. Pool size is 4/8 meters plus a thing some might call whirlpool bath. The water has more chlorine than you can imagine. For Sauna you must pay extra, probably because two people are difficult to obtain. Pamporovo is a great place but probably you will never understand it if you visit this hotel.

Hi,
We have our own ski depot so you can rent any equipment here.
The hotel is just 200 meters away from Studenetz and actually from the doorstep of our ski rent centre you can slide down the slope to Bus station ski lift.
For this information you need contact with the hotel.
But i belive this is not problem they have big rooms and august is not hight seasone.
