A fantastic introduction to Niseko. Friendly hosts and a super-relaxed vibe. The room was somewhat spartan, but the communal areas were welcoming and comfortable. Ideal quality and quantity of breakfast for a day on the slopes. Easy access to the gear room and the furnace of a heater got everyone's kit perfectly dry. It's a fair hoof to the Hirafu...

Our group of 4 spent a week staying at Alpine Central while visiting Japan for a ski trip. We were welcomed by great hosts Jenna and Rhys who made us feel right at home and were a pleasure to speak to every day! They also imparted local knowledge on where best to ski and where to find the best local...

We couldn't have asked for better accomodation for our first trip to Niseko. Communication from the time of booking was personable and efficient. Our room was perfect, great views to Mt Yotei and comfortable lodge style character abounds. The breakfast was super, the vibe that the hosts have created reallly sets the place up for a fun time without any...

Spent a week here, and felt very cozy and welcome from the start. Ski busses operate right in front of the lodge, and the location is great. Few small restaurants close by, but all the services of Hirafu village are 1,5km away. I had an accident on my second to last day, and Jenna & Rhys helped me alot during...

My family had a great few days in January 2017 staying at Alpine central with hosts Jenna and Rhys. This accommodation is in the east village and so needed to catch a courtesy bus to the ski fields each day but this only took a few minutes and the buses ran pretty regularly. It is walking distance to the main...

Stayed in January 2017 and our hosts Rhys & Jenna are lovely people and made our stay even more memorable. Although a little way from the action of Hirafu, the bus stop is straight outside. Rooms are basic but more than adequate. Just some more hanging space in the rooms would be nice, as well as a bigger fridge in...

Alpine Central is a fantastic lodge and we really enjoyed our stay. The hosts, Jenna, Rhys and Christy could not have been more helpful, welcoming and friendly, and seemed to effortlessly make everyone feel at home. Other highlights included the delicious breakfast, free-flow tea and hot chocolate, comfortable communal area, easy access ski and boot room, and convenient location. Our...

I liked a lot that everything was well organized and properly maintained here: the room for skis, boots and drying jackets, gloves etc. was in order and dried the gear well. Moreover, breakfast was served every morning and was always on time or even earlier than 07:30. Our room was clean and us three Finnish guys slept well there after...

Located at Izumikyo 2, this lodge is not exactly walking distance to Gondola but busstop 24 is right at the door step. Shuttle bus to Gondola or Welcome Centre runs regularly at intervals. There is also a bus to Hanazono from the same busstop. The hosts Rhys and Jenna (Aussies) are chatty, friendly and helpful. They keep the place really...

We stayed for 4 nights in a twin room in mid-December. The lodge is in a convenient location, only a 15 minute walk or short shuttle bus ride to Grand Hirafu.
