First the good news - the location was very good and the wifi was fast. My room was a basic interior room with little more than a bed. There was no shower curtain or door. I've never stayed in a place where the sheets were so stiff. They crackled all night long!

When we arrived, I asked if there was street noise. The woman said, yes, until 11. Actually it is until 2 am. And it is not street noise, it is a club down the street, with base thumping in the room. And I had two small children with me and this is what they told me. And it was 530...

I stayed here 2 nights. The other hotel, Oasis, recommended by Moon travel guide was torn down. We looked for it for 30 or 40 minutes. ( I really hate "updated" current year travel guides that are so out of date you want to scream. The same with a restaurant in Juichitan. Bruce Wipperwill or whatever the writer name is...

I recently stayed at the Donaji for two days. We found it quite nice. The location is very close to the main plaza and market. My friend says it seems much nicer than when they were there before. The hotel has been freshly painted. Our room had a double bed and a single bed. It was basic but all we...

I hate to relive my terrible experience at this hell hole but I have to warn other travelers. At 285 pesos for an "air conditioned" room, this room was overpriced (approx $25). I know that is not much but we would have been better off driving into the night and risking highway robberies. The word "dismal" should be enough to...

We had read the 1st reviewer so decided to stay at Guiexhoba which was highly rated in Lonely Planet. Emailed and they were full so we decided to take a chance. It is about 4 short blocks from the main plaza. Very basic. Small rooms, can have AC or Fan. We got in early afternoon and got front room but...

We checked into here as a stop over due to our long journey. We managed to park outside the hotel as there seemed to be a lot of parking anyway. The other hotel was full so we decided to stay here. The hotel was very cheap at 265 pesos, one of the cheapest we stayed in. There is no lift...
