This is "hotel impossible"! A terrible location, very slow receptionist (15 minutes check in, 20 minutes check out), outdated room, broken shower, terrible breakfast and VERY EXPENSIVE! Frankly speaking it was one of my worst experience. Next time I will cross the border to Bulgaria and I will stay in Ruse...

The hotel is set in a typical, 4 floor apartment building the structure of which was restored and slightly adjusted to accommodate the required spaces. There is a supermarket on one side and a quiet bad looking apartment building on the other side of the hotel. Rooms and bathrooms are fair, if small, the restaurant serves a good selection of... very expensive, not offering anything for so much money you pay, the owner hostile and bad mood, there was a couple that entire evening did not let us sleep, the worst is the huge picture of the owner at the reception.

Giurgiu is perhaps the weakest capital of the county in Romania in terms of hotels. This hotel, as Hotel Vlasca are terrible. Try to avoid sleeping in Giurgiu, recommend city Ruse (Bulgaria). In general, Giurgiu is a city to avoid, with only a decent restaurant, Restaurant Perla.

Booked this hotel on the Internet, based on pictures and reviews. Arrived about 11 pm after a late flight. Receptionist was friendly but unable to organise any snack or cup of tea. Hotel corridors clean, floors tiled all round and had been recently washed. Room was basic, but sewer gas in bathroom was overpowering. Switching on extract fan made it... More

We choose this hotel because it seems to be the only 3 stars hotel from the city. We had unpleaseant opportunity to meet the hotel director mr. Zavici Emil who shown us an attitude that we could not imagine in hospitality. The room was too hot or too cold because of the improper AC and a stinky bathroom. After room,... More
