Managed at last to get a table for dinner here having seen such good things about their food. Was very disappointed. Food was nicely presented but lacked flavour. Breadfruit soup needs to be made with a good well-seasoned stock - tonight it was anaemic. The mixed salad was good, with a tasty herby dressing. On reflection I wished I had...

I recently stayed at this wonderful place. Located on the island of Tobago known for its variety of birds, great opportunities for water sports, hiking, walking, beaches. Tobago is the sister-island of Trinidad but much smaller, less dense in terms of population (than its more urban island partner), spread across a beautiful expanse or landscape. There are coves, small fishing...

Stayed here twice. It is set in a lovely natural setting and has none of the traits of near by International hotel chain resorts.............. Wonderful breakfasts with nature all around you. Did not go for the yoga stuff, we just went as a normal tourists and fell in love with the place. Highly recommended to anyone who reads this :-)

Kariwak was lovely. Breakfast was included in our package and it was excellent. Coconut bread is a must. The facilities were very well maintained, the pool, buildings everything immaculate. The yoga classes were awesome. I am a complete beginner and the instructors were really good, patient and encouraging. Very relaxing.

Kariwak village sells itself. From the moment you walk in to that dreadful moment you have to leave. It says caribbean holiday to the hilt. Serene gardens, wonderful jacuzzi nestled in a garden of local flora and fauna. The lazy hammock evenings where you get to leave this busy world while you nap before scrumptious dinner. The staff always say....welcome...

You don't re-visit 5 times unless it suits you! For us the morning yoga in the ajouba, the breakfast, the shuttle to & from Pigeon Point Beach, the pool & garden and then dinner make up for possible minor negatives, such as no TV or the "liquid sunshine" in the rainy season! The warm welcome from Cynthia, Didi & other...

Peaceful surroundings and walking distances to restaurants and beaches. Parking is a bit tight but who needs that when all you want is to relax round the pool and be in bliss, walk distance from the airport with all amenities within reach

This definitely was not my first and last time with the Kariwak family. I decided to celebrate my husband's birthday at the "Village" three days ago. This is no concrete jungle but that "home away from home" we always expect when on vacation. When we arrived to our room and it was well decorated for the birthday King and a...

I never liked going over to Tobago. It was so hot, sticky and there was nothing really to do other than go on the beach or to nylon pool. I never really interacted with people so I always had a one-sided view. I checked into Kariwak and was blown away; Nicole I think was so nice and friendly very detailed,...
