I spent the weekend at this hotel. The service is average. The room was not bad and had a fantastic view of the ocean. It was serene and well spent. However, there was no food inclusive within the price and the hotel charged me for a local call that did not connect , as in, i attempted to place a local call and the line did not connect to the other line whether answered or unanswered. This was unethical on the part of the hotel policy as the phone does not work.

Hotel's Favourite
My husband and I stayed at this amazing hotel from the 3rd of February for 10 days. We didn't want to come home! From walking out of the airport and down the street to the Crown Point we were made to feel welcome from the local people. They said hello, smiled and even said " Welcome to Tobago. We were warmly greeted by the front of desk staff and went to our lovely room. Clean cool and comfortable we felt relaxed and happy from the start. After unpacking we went down to the bar and were made to feel very welcome...not only by the staff but by other guests as well. The CPBH has a really nice vibe. The food was really great at the Blu Bar and Restarant and we ate there quite a bit and would always have a night cap in the evenings. Breakfast was always doubles from Kennys or Debes. We enjoyed the beach both Store Bay and Pigeon Point. We had a boat trip with Frankies Tours and a fantastic island tour from Wayne Kennedy. What made our holiday so so special were the fantastic people of Trinidad and Tobago. We need to say a massive thank you to Nicolas, Sonia ,Andre, Daniel, Afesha and Chef Christoff ..the Blu Team. Beautiful kind and fun human beings. Big hugs to Chanelle and Hannah on front desk. Great establishment with amazing staff. We will be back. Jim and Helen Room 219.

I love the fact it is in walking distance from the airport and close to eating areas, beach and souvenirs shops. The room is a good size, bathroom shower small (dislike shower curtains, dated ) . Furniture is a bit dated and worn. Bedding , PLEASE CHANGE YOUR PILLOWS for a restful night. Landscaping and maintenance of the grounds is of a high standard and offers a peaceful scenic view of the beach . Very inviting for exercising , picnicking , or some quality me time. Reception area is quite friendly. Bar staff needs some training in making drinks Menu options of the food is vast but took a long time to serve It is not a 5 star hotel but for a quick get away has it benefits . Will I come back again yes it will but will being my pillows

Horrible hotel, catastrophically bad staff and even worse and insulting manager which explains the staff. Zero stars if that existed. Messed up check in: On arrival they messed up our reservation. We booked 2 cabanas and a room but they double booked and asked us to change rooms. First we thought that we had no choice and we were going to agree. Then we asked to keep our original booking and we were eventually able to keep our rooms for which the front staff got mad and annoyed with us for a back and forth that they started in the first place. We did get an early check in for one room. Double Charging us: so later we went to get the other rooms and they made our old parents pay again even though I had paid for everything already. So disorganized. I hope we eventually get that money back but it’s causing our parents issues with their cards now. They already charged the entire stay at the start, which is bad enough , but to double charge old retired people is disgusting. No beach towels in a beach hotel: Then we went for towels for the beach , there were no towels in the beach hotel. They could not initially give an estimate. So I asked the manager who was passing if we could use normal room towels. She the laughed at us in a bad condescending way and refused. She treated us like idiots. About 45 mins later we got some but, not enough for all of us. When we called at about 4.30 pm, they said that Beach towels are only available between 8.00 am and 4.00 pm. When we checked the front desk at 11.00 am the next morning they said that none were available as they are being washed. We tried again at noon, still none. Hopefully we will eventually get towels. No cooking gas: then we tried to use the stove and it would not light. We had to go ask for gas. They did bring it in good time. The rooms are not in good shape but that is acceptable if only the staff were half competent and had a real manager. Owners do something or you will go out of business. Hopefully we will get some towels and the double charge money back. To people looking for a hotel , don’t stay here. Instead, stay in Johnston’s appartement on the same compound.

I have stayed at this resort several times in the past years with my family. The rooms are not the most modern as the structure is a bit dated however they are quite comfortable and very clean. The view is amazing, the compound is well kept and the pool is always clean. The reception staff, security and not to mention the house keeping staff was always very pleasant and helpful.Kudos to them.During my last visit the only unpleasant experience i had was at the pool side bar where i waited at the counter for a while before i got the attention of a male bar attendant with glasses and a ras hair style who i asked for a lemon lime ginseng. He was acting like he didn't want to serve me.He then replied with a grouchy tone " we doh sell that ".He didn't even bother to offer me the alternative flavors available.I then asked him do you have the Original Ginseng flavor to which he hesitated and then grouchly replied "yes".At that point in time i told him i will like to have one please. He turned his back and walked to the other side of the bar and totally ignored me.Eventually i got the attention of a female bar attendant who came behind the counter. She was very pleasant got the non alcholic beverage for me.Another male bar attendant ( tough guy ) was washing some glasses , he was nice enough to stop what he was doing, wipe his hands and gave me a straw.I then decided to order two non alcholic Pina Coladas. The bar attendant ( tough guy ) turned and told the same bar attendant with the glasses and ras hair style to make it for me.His facial expression clearly showed that he was displeased. He eventually made it, not to mention very watery with little or no taste mostly ice.As a paying customer, the last thing anyone wants to get when they are on vacation is attitude from staff serving them.I didn't bother to tell him anything , i just sat back from a distance and observed him with other customers who was being treated differently. Its unfortunate that all the beautiful memories i have from past vacations here with my family has been replaced by this when ever i hear the name Crown Point Resort.

The room was nice and clean. The staff were all welcoming both from the hotel and restaurant. It was my partners birthday celebration and they decorated the room with flowers and towel animals was amazing :) she got a cake with firework candle. Our bathroom draing wasn't working great and they changed us to another room immediately. Everything was wonderful. Only down is the rate for late check out. The room was available but late check out was $100/hr.

I'm a local that has known of Crown Point Hotel for many years but never stayed. I stayed 4 nights with my wife and 2 yr old daughter. We booked a quick getaway and chose crown point for its direct beach access and ojr expectations were not high given that this is an older property and looks a bit runned down I must admit were were plessantly surprised with our room (clearly refurbished) and the excellent maintenance of the property grounds. The property truly boasts one of the best locations and views on the islands. Simply fantastic! Our room was cleaned everyday and done excellently i might add, and satisfied our picky standards. I rated them 4 stars and knocked them one star for these reasons: Staff were generally pleasant, some exceptionally so (couple of the waiters and our receptionist upon checking in). There were exceptions; psrticularly one evening, my wife went to the front desk and requested the pool lights be turned on as our baby girl was wading in the pool and it was now dark. The young lady at front desk resplnded rudely and refused to accommodate. We also requested a late checkout and willing to pay and we were flatlh refused. Ive never been refused this before and im happy to say that we have always been accommodated in some way. I know for a fact that there were a number of empty rooms snd we just neefed a base for a few hours to change or baby girl to prep for our flight. I will also mention that there were several chickens that roam freely on the compound. People will view this differently and i'm not too bothered and my little girl was quite facinated. However, they do defecate everywhere and i stepped on crap a few times well. Be warned!. Overall a happy relaxing stay and we will return.

To begin with, the location is perfect. You can walk from the airport if you desire and amazingly you don't hear planes at the hotel unless you are in the parking lot. The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning and the grounds are beautifully kept. There is a short flight of stairs down to a beautiful beach (arguably the nicest in Tobago) with relatively calm water. ALL of the staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful. It is also within easy (walking???) distance to a street food strip where you can get almost any type of food that you desire at very reasonable prices. There are numerous mini marts around where you can get anything. The only minor negative is that the rooms are a little outdated, but, fully functional and comfortable. Very good restaurant also with very reasonable prices and a fantastic breakfast which was included in our package. When we return to Tobago, God willing, we will not even waste time looking for or considering any other place to stay.

Comfortable clean rooms with lovely views. Direct staircase access to Store Bay Beach which was perfect for early morning dips and strolls. Parking for vehicles/Rentals on compound. Grocery store next door to hotel. Pool was perfect for the kids when the beach was rough or sun too hot. Reception staff and Housekeeping were all pleasant and kind, However the restaurant staff were a bit grouchy and seemed rude, and the food wasn't all that. Generally its the perfect location to enjoy everything and also very close to the airport. Our 3rd time and will surely return for the location..
