The staff are excellent, the rooms adequate but needing investment but the hotel is showing its age. It needs a new injection of capital and interest; and why have two restaurants that serve the same menu? We enjoyed our stay, but it could have been so much better!!

Our second time at this splendid hotel. Some people think it looks a bit tired, we think it exudes colonial style charm. Room overlooking the lagoon. Flowers to greet us and wine and chocolate sent to the room. Two years ago the wine, both red and white, were very acidic. I spoke to the General Manager, and gather others had...

We didn’t choose this resort, we stayed here because friends were getting married here. They had used the resort before and were quite taken with it. We found the resort ok but too expensive for what it is. It could do with a lick of paint in places. The location is excellent, the beech and swimming lagoon was brilliant; a...

Thank you for your feedback. It is great to know that, not only did you enjoy your stay with us but also had the opportunity to explore the destination. Our Dive Shop. Undersea Tobago is one of the best on the island. Thank you for your mention of them. Hopefully, you will get the opportunity to dive in our waters...

We chose this resort as we were only visiting for 5 days primarily to dive with Undersea Tobago which we chose first, then decided on the resort (see my very positive review of the dive shop under their page). We stayed in the Hummingbird Suite which is 112 garden level looking out at the pool. The room was very large,...

Upon arriving, it looked like we were approaching a tropical estate with gorgeous palm trees and a palatial entrance. During check-in, a server approached us with 2 cold frozen drinks on a platter. The drinks were a very pleasant surprise. The ambiance was set instantly. Next a bellman carried our bags to our room and escorted us. Upon entering the...

We returned here after a seven year gap and were looking forward to renewing our acquaintance with this beautiful hotel. The gardens are still lovely, but where was the doorman? There was no-one to take our bags so I had to stay outside with our luggage while my husband checked in and looked for a porter. Not a good start....

OK, so if you are expecting a glitzy hotel with slick service, you will be disappointed. If on the other hand you like a charming well designed property with lovely gardens, the only private beach on Tobago, really good snorkeling from the shore and lovely staff, you will like it very much. While it is true, the rooms could do...

I been several times and each time had no complaint, however the last was in January and my complaints includes bad service from restaurant staff, reduced drink selections which are included in the all inclusive option, lack of variety of food and the rooms are in need of an upgrade. Probably the best hotel in Tobago, but it's now in...

Thank you for your comments. Your notes on the specific aspects of your stay Seem to focus primarily on our entree options for each meal period and a decline in service standard from our new staff members. We have made note of your observations and will pursue improvements in our training methods as well as attempt more variety in our...

This resort may once have been great, but it's glory days are well past and the Coco Reef is in dire need of complete refurbishment. Our room was dingy, once white towels and bed linen were an unpleasant shade of grey; the old plastic shower curtain was two feet too long so that it dragged in the bottom of the...
