Great service from start to finish. Very welcoming and accommodating. Lovely Clare even sais iur dogs were the best behaved she'd had (maybe she says that to all the dogs!) Easy to find from the motorway but quiet and within walking distance of the charming quiet town. Sorry we couldn't stay an extra day! Next time.

We stayed here as a family of three for a number of nights at a very difficult & sad time, having just lost a sister and being here for her funeral. Clare the owner provided so much quiet but unobtrusive support us to us all throughout our stay, allowing our family members who live in France, to visit us and...

Very welcoming host who could not have been more helpful. Old, character building with huge rooms and very tastefully refurbished. Nice and quiet and within a few minutes walk to the centre of the town. Lovely continental breakfast. Very reasonably priced.

We spent two nights at L'Etoile as a break on the way from St Malo to the Dordogne. It is conveniently situated on the edge of the town where you can easily park on the street, but the walk into town only takes about ten minutes. Claire was very helpful when we asked where we could go cycling for the...

We've just returned home from a fabulous stay whilst attending a friends wedding in the area. The location was fabulous overlooking the river. Clare made us feel extremely welcome and everything was amazing, we couldn't of asked for more. The breakfast was lovely, the rooms lovely and the added bonus of a sitting room and kitchen were a godsend when...

Fabulous B&B, beautifully decorated and situated on the waters edge. Claire the owner was a fantastic and attentive hostess who really made a fuss of the kids and put everyone at ease after a stressful day of driving.

We loved everything about L'Etoile du Port. Clare is the most warm and wonderful host, who has established a very homey feel to her bed and breakfast. It has a spacious and comfortable sitting room and breakfast area, plus the kitchenette is also extremely handy. Clare made us feel very special and very welcome. Breakfast is fantastic and plentiful. Rooms...
