What a lovely place. I was on the dingle way and spend there the 2nd night-luckily I was able to stay there again on my way back. The lady is just wonderful and really takes care about you, the beds are comfortable and you’ll sleep after good food across the street in ashes bar like a baby.

Warm greeting from Kathleen. Very clean room with good bed and shower. Some minor problems with the room which we just looked past, nothing that would make us not stay there again. Wifi was excellent. Kind of tight for space though we did fine. Breakfast was good; the room for the meal was an observatory with a great view. One...

Like others here I stayed at Finglas on the first night of walking the Dingle Way. In several weeks of recent travel this is one of the three best places I have stayed: - Kathleen is the perfect hostess (after a wet and very windy walk from Tralee it was lovely to be greeted by Kathleen "come straight inside to...

A couple of things place Finglas above the average B&B. First, the hostess Kathleen is a living archive of the area's history. Second, there is a spacious sitting room where people can relax and talk, a nice contrast to those B&B's that try and cram as many rooms as possible into available space. Great views. And it's nicely located across...

We had a really nice stay here walking the dingle way. Kathleen made us feel welcome instantly. Breakfast was very nice. There's a nice pub opposite to the B&B, for your evening meal. Bed was a bit hard.

We stayed at Finglas House at the start of our Dingle Way walk. Kathleen's welcome was like every experience we had of her - enthusiastic, ultra-friendly and helpful. Kathleen also very kindly allowed us to park our classic car at Finglas House whilst we completed the walk and I know she kept an eye on it through the week. If...

I cannot think of a better place to start walking the Dingle Way. From our room we had views over both the sea and the hills. Breakfast was really nice and from the breakfast room we had a grand view of the sea. Most important of all: our landlady was the best.

Don't need to add any more than I did in my last review. Just wanted to address an issue brought up by WileyManVA in his review regarding the wifi. Finglas House. being of solid concrete construction, both walls and ceilings, poses particular problems for the transmission of wifi. The further away from the router, the weaker the signal. However, if...

We had a wonderful experience at Finglas House. It was our first stop on the Dingle Way. Kathleen, the hostess, had helpful suggestions when we asked her about local walks. She was also very accommodating to my many food allergies. Our room was very comfortable and the food was delicious. Highly recommended.

We walked the Dingle way and spent our first and last night in Camp. We totally enjoyed our stay. Kathleen Daly is a lovely and gracious host, and she went out of her way to make us comfortable and feel welcome. There is a lovely sitting room with books, tea and muffins for weary travelers. Breakfast was delicious. A couple...
