The setting is perfect, you are right on the beach. The lodge has nice modern rooms and bathroom. The water is collected from rain water and heated from solar panels, very eco friendly. Kitchen and communal areas are spacious, lots of fridge space. Outside seating area at the back and front. Games in the lounge area and table tennis at...

I couldn't fault this place. Beautiful setting, great rooms and great hosts. Having paid triple the cost to stay in a hotel in Bay of Islands which didn't even come to close to the experience I had staying at Endless Summer Lodge. Will definitely be back. Super chilled.

I stayed there for 3 nights and it's definitely one of the best hostels I stayed in NZ. It's a beautiful house with garden. Right next to the beach. Very clean and good kitchen with a dishwasher. The staff is very friendly. Loved it there and would definitely go back.

What a wonderful place, having travelled all over the world, this is one of the places I'd most like to come back to. Just passing the days in the hammocks with a book, throwing frisbees for the dogs, and taking long walks on 90 Mile Beach. Great atmosphere, great people, just a place to linger.

I came up by myself for a couple week nights to do some surfing and I had a great stay. The kitchen facilities are just amazing which is good since there are no restaurants nearby. Shipwrecks bay is just down the road and there is a beginner surf spot right in front of the lodge.

What an amazing place and part of New Zealand!! Accommodation was fantastic, very clean, beautifully restored. The beach right across the road, just to bad there wasn't much of a swell to catch the waves haha... we will be back for-sure!

What a place. Blue skies, surfing, great people, wonderful hosts, large comfortable beds... This is easily the best hostel I've ever stayed in. The kitchen and bathrooms were immaculate and refurbished- nicer than at home! The kitchen even has a dishwasher (backpacker luxury!). The beaches across the street are great, and free boogie boards for riding the dunes or hitting...

Lovely place, friendly, clean. It was right on the beach and I had a lovely swim. Well equipped kitchen. Helpful owners. Great atmosphere. Popular with surfers, both those who are riding the waves as well as the sand dunes. Highly recommended

Decent enough place but real security problem. Our car window was smashed in while it was parked in their parking lot. The had a security camera installed but it was “not on” that night. Didn’t really matter because the camera only sees one or two spots rather than the full lot. Filed a police report but seemed like a routine...

Dear Matt, I would like to take the opportunity again to apologise to you. It was very bad luck you got your bags stolen. We have off street parking with security lights which makes parking a lot saver than parking on the road. Over the 15 years of running this place and having thousands of cars parked on our car...

Lovely old villa converted to a hostel, friendly hosts. Big comfy bed in the private double room we had. Smart modern toilet / shower upstairs. Very well appointed kitchen with all the pots, pans etc you could need and a dishwasher so hardly any washing up to do! Right on the beach front, can hire surfboards and wetsuits.
