Lovely hotel steps from the beach. Very friendly staff. Little bar next to the poolside and small restaurant. Everything close by like bakery and souvenir shops. A nice restaurant up the road on the beach called Maria beach tavern. Views are amazing. Worth it. Would recommend.

Our room had one of the best views I have ever had in a hotel! 180 degree views of the sea, stunning! The room was also very comfortable, excellent AC and a very comfortable bed. The hotel is right beside the beach where you can sunbathe all day, there is also a pool that gets the sun until about 3pm. Great service from the team & a nice experience. The only area of improvement needed is the breakfast: there isn’t enough variety (more egg options please) and it runs out quickly (especially close to the 10am finish). There are some lovely restaurants nearby and the hotel is in easy walk of the town.

We booked this hotel due to it's location and were totally satisfied. Kissamos is about a 30-40 min drive from Chania and we found this hotel to be the perfect location between Chania and all the amazing sites of western Crete. These included Elafonisi, Balos & Gramvoussa as well as Phalasarna. When you travel in this part of Crete I highly recommend you have a car to get around and see the sites. Back to the hotel, Nautilus Bay, it's literally right on the beach, hosts George & Isabella are outstanding as are all the staff. It's very reasonably priced and has a great pool and bar area. Breakfast was plentiful with many choices. The hotel is also walking distance to many restaurants and has an amazing chief, should you wish to lunch or dine at the hotel. Should we return to Crete we will definitely be staying at Nautilus Bay Hotel.…

We (mum, dad, two teen daughters) shared a room with side sea view for a week. The room had a kitchenette with fridge, two sofa beds, a huge double bed in the master bedroom, and a perfectly functional bath/shower room. Plus two balconies. Plenty of space for us all. Two air conditioners (one for the living area, one for the bedroom) kept us as cool as we liked. The staff are all wonderful. The bar staff make regular (short) journeys to the beach to make sure we're not thirsty and Izabela, who runs the show, is happy to advise or order you a taxi. Despite being full, the hotel, and Kissamos in general, never felt busy. Always loungers available by the pool or on the beach a few steps away. A very calm, relaxing, stress free holiday. Oh, and there are cats. Which is a bonus. All very chilled and happy to say hello.…

A lovely hotel in so many ways ! Great staff and owners, location by sandy beach, nice pool, very well prepared food in their restaurant including an extensive breakfast spread.....Are other restaurants nearby. Clean & comfortable large rooms with good wi-fi. Good base for exploring western Crete and the famous beaches. A tranquil place. A very international selection of guests - always someone to chat with even when travelling alone and learn something new. I have had many great stays here. Stayed two weeks this time in June 2023. A big thanks to all staff and Izabela / George !

Located right by a beautiful sandy beach…..good for swimming. Very friendly staff and owners. Well-appointed spacious rooms with efficient air-conditioning and wi-fi. Delightful pool. Well-cooked fresh food in the hotel restaurant including an excellent breakfast selection. In addition, there is a good selection of tavernas within walking distance. Outdoor bar for a coffee or a drink. A great base for exploring western Crete…….and the famous beaches. Paleochora on the south coast is also worth a visit! (Can drive or take two busses there). Guests come from all parts of the world (the majority from Europe) and the hotel is suitable for both couples, families and singles…..and even oldies like me ! Always someone to chat to…. My room had a panoramic view of the bay. My tenth stay of at least two weeks at this hotel since 2014 and I will return again next year! Thank you to everyone for another really enjoyable and happy stay!…

We stayed here before in 2020 and loved it so returned for another 2 weeks. The staff could not be more helpful or kind and its in the perfect location if you like quiet and a genuine cretan experience. Right on the beach which is sandy and shallow, good food in the hotel and in the taverna next door. The beach is prone to get very rough seas in North winds but Falasarna small beach is a 15 minute drive away and is absolutely lovely, Thank you again to Izabella and all her staff. It has nothing to do with this hotel review but I advise future customers not to rent a car from Kissamos car rentals up the road where we had a very bad experience, delapidated and unsafe cars and a miserable and rude proprietor called Hara who refused to apologise or refund us for the treatment we received. The local roads can be quite tricky and treacherous and so its important to rent a good car, there are plenty of other car rental options in the village with much more modern cars and better customer service…

Thank you very much for excellent vacation to the very friendly staff of the Hotel Nautilus Bay at Kissamos! We had a most delightful week in your hotel where everything went perfectly well. Hotel room was very clean and suitably sized for our family of four persons. Nice balcony, small but functional hotel pool and excellent and especially not crowded beach next to the hotel. Great breakfast at the hotel and restaurant serves also very good a la carte -menu. I highly recommend also Kissamos city as a travel destination.

Wow, nailed it. Staying in chania but wanted to see the two famous beaches. Stayed two nights … spent time on their beach, marvellous. Ate at Plaka both nights, great, super boys. Back to the hotel, great rooms , lovely people, super pool, wonderful breakfast. And bar … And great advice from the boss … times to visit elifanisi and the best boat for balos . She was bang on and made both days so much better. Thank you
