The staff was never near the reception and were unreachable in any way, shower was awful, there was no fridge, the location was good but a little bit far from the centre of london. Not recommending!!!

Staff were first class. Really friendly and helpful. Hotel is in great location, very close to railway station shops and other facilities. Would highly recommend as excellent value for money and very convenient

Nice and clean room. Hotel is over a great restaurant so if you like Indian food, go there for dinner. Restaurants noises don't disturb at all- can't hear anything. Small continental breakfast is just a bun and fruits but in the area you can easily find good place to eat.

My husband and I booked this hotel at the last minute . The room was very comfortable clean with good facilities ,incuded in the room was a bowl of fruit, good toiletries in the shower room plenty of towells . The receptionist recommended a restaurant which was good value and an excellent meal (indian restaurant underneath the hotel).

Not great, nice bed clean tidy. Broken toilet seat , no trace of a breakfast. Wanted early check in, but communication wasn't good. Staff on the reception nice. Parking around the back, but unsecured. Aircon in room worked and needed. Wouldn't stay again. Because I think it was overpriced for the quality.

Had the worse two night sleep ever with the room next door playing loud music till daft o'clock at night/morning!! Annoying because I called the number at the desk at reception to complain, but the guy on the phone couldn't do anything because he was out of office. so I had to endure it Which I wasn't happy about at... Its unfortunate that I have to say that, despite the fantastically friendly staff, I just cant recommend Macy's hotel to any friends or family. Perhaps in the right circumstances, for the right person, it may do the job... but... no... not for us. The room was rough around the edges... literally. There were scuffs and broken skirting surrounding our bed... More

The hotel rooms are very clean and the service is good. Very close to the Chingford railway station. The Indian restaurant downstairs has a wide variety of good quality Indian food. All the rooms have free Wifi with good speed.

Stayed for one night. Toilet seat broken and toilet floor not swept. Went to make coffee in morning to find no coffee, only milk and sugar! Of the two mugs provided, one had not been washed. No reception until 8.00am so no - one around to call. Not a continental breakfast just some tired fruit and a couple of chocolate... More
