My partner and I were very happy with our stay at Yemaya. From the moment we entered we felt very comfortable and taken care of. The hotel itself is beautiful and the staff was just wonderful. Although the hotel is near the Panamerican highway, we never heard nor were disturbed by the passing cars. Prior to the visit I read...

Let me say first, definitely beautiful grounds, the wait staff very kind when you can find them. We will never return. Even if it was free. We stayed in a NON airconditioned bungalow which I did not even think to check as many hotels half the price include thia basic necessity in the heat of Tumbes region. We were told...

We were there last october for 5 days. After a long trip along Peru/Bolivia/Chile/Argentina. It was perfect to rest and sleep on the golden and calm beaches. The hotel is right above to beach and only 30 minutes from Tumbes Airport and Mancora (Where you can find good seafood/nightlife/ceviche). The staff is good and kind, they called a taxi for...

Dear Mr. Barroso, Thank you very much for sharing your experience in Yemaya Boutique Hotel. Now we are training a new chef to improve our range of gastronomic offerings. I hope you give us the opportunity to share with us these gastronomic proposals. We already have the project to build a sound wall to avoid disturbing sound. Your comments help...

This is a pleasant small beach resort and the staff on the whole were excellent (female owner a little bit blunt at time). Miguel Angelo the barman and waiter was an excellent and very helpful guy and a real credit to the resort. Food was good but the options a bit limited and you have to place your order late...

I stayed here with my family for 4 nights and we loved it. The hotel is really beautiful, it felt like stumbling into a desert oasis, complete with bougainvillea and shell chandeliers. The staff was SO great, the food was lovely and the entire hotel was small enough for it to feel like a private hideaway. Things to note: -...

We travelled to Yemaya/ Tumbes towards the end of our 3 week honeymoon in Chile/ Bolivia and Peru having just completed the Inca Trail - it was the perfect location for some relaxation! The hotel at Punta Sal isn't too far from the airport and the complex is very pleasant - rooms are spacious and the terrace stretches out onto...

Peru is known for its tourist attractions at high altitudes but coming back down to sea-level, Peru offers a spectacular array of beaches. Punta Sal is wedged between Tumbes and Piura off the Pan-American highway. The coast around Punta Sal is replete with calm ocean waters and sandy beaches with few people in sight. The Yemaya Boutique Hotel finds itself...

I went back to Yemaya this year and it was a real treat. The bungalows are very comfortable, tastefully decorated, and with a beautiful terrace that allows you to sleep with the ocean's breeze and sounds. As such, the best bungalows are those facing the ocean. I am happy I chose Yemaya since all I wanted was to be in...
