We were moved to this hotel as our original hotel had no hot water. We didn't realise how lucky we were. Thank you Jet2 and the hotel management. Our room overlooked the bay and was boutique style. The food was excellent as was the service. The staff were on hand to serve guests with a pleasant and gracious manner. There...

Beautiful quiet hotel with colonial feel and amazing location. Wonderful spa although children sometimes go in and the jets are a bit dangerous for them.(over 16s only allowed) Lovely massage and wonderful helpful staff on reception and in bar and restaurant. Classy but not snobby, also smoker friendly on the terrace and balcony which is good..more for grown ups overall. Lovely...

We stayed 2 nights at Illa d'Or and it was excellent. The hotel is spotless and the location is excellent. The breakfast is also nice. The staff are friendly and efficient. The only negatives are the size of the room and the sound proof insulation between the rooms. Highly recommended

1929 hotel has association with both Agatha Christie and Grace Kelly which determines the hotel being quintessentially English class with chic style of French Riviera in it's recent refit. Three course dinner waiter served from a delicious selection menu changed every two days, see sample menu photo. Ensure you check carefully your room requirements as there are few sea front balconies...

Spent six nights here, intending to have a relaxing time with my wife and daughter. The hotel is of a very high standard, very well maintained and clean. The staff could not be more helpful, they arranged trips, gave advice on where to go and what to do, organised bike hire, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel has it's...

I am currently staying in Hotel Illa D'Or with my wife and two grown up children. What a place! Already looking at when I can come back this year. The weather is great, 22 degrees, which is a lot more pleasant than Belfast at this time of year. The Hotel is sophisticated, yet very customer focussed. Nothing is too much...

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at the Hotel Illa d'Or which we enjoyed every minute of. Our room, 212 was on the second floor at the front. Although the room initially felt a little small it had a large balcony which was a real sun trap, with fantastic views right across the bay. The food we ate...

This is a wonderful hotel in a fabulous setting, having just come back from our third visit in 12 months. Our room on the second floor was comfortable, if a bit on the small side, but this was more than made up for by the large balcony overlooking the bay. All of the staff are welcoming and helpful and make...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Illa d’Or, founded in 1929, is a hotel which still maintains the authentic classical style from yonder. Situated in placid Puerto Pollença, where one can experience the sensation of beauty which has served as inspiration to a multitude of yesterday’s and todays’s artists and writers. At the Illa D’Or, the sky and the sea are a gentle carress, dusk is a symphony of colours and night, whilst on the terrace and contemplating the moon reflection in the sea, one realises that it is one of the most beautiful areas, not only in Mallorca, but possibly, in the world. ... more   less
