Detailed Reviews
First of all, we had an amazing time. The hotel felt safe, was scrupulously clean, the staff weren't afraid to remind people to wear masks/use hand sanitiser in communal areas - all of which gave us great confidence as a family.
The pool area was fantastic, lots of space, sunbeds and parasols, with underused posh adult only sunlounger areas (which are a real treat and where you can easily supervise the pool from!). Food was excellent and entertainment staff were kind, fun and while persuasive, not in your face.
Our only disappointment was our room, it was clean, new, with a great modern bathroom, but it was basic for a 4* & we overlooked the road. Saying that, the hotel had only 1 block open at this stage and it's a minimal criticism given what a great time we had!
The hotel is also a 2 minute walk to the main beachfront/bar area - a super location with free parking all around.

We have just returned from this hotel where we had a very nice holiday. The hotel is one of the best for cleanliness , the grounds and pool are also beautifully kept, we couldn’t fault anything with these areas, but what we were disappointed with was the dining room, the food was always cold even first thing in the morning and also dinner. The choice of meat was poor, lots of stir fry’s and kebabs, the pork fillet we had one evening was so tough we couldn’t cut it never mind chew it. My 2 fillets of fish were full of bones one evening….dreadful!!
Paella was served every night…possibly has a filler up! The salad bar was the best thing on offer but when your husband doesn’t like salad it became very difficult to find something he did like because everything was disjointed…ie nothing seemed to go with anything, plain boiled rice but nothing to go with it. Desserts were like you would serve at a childrens party… all in pretty half full dishes but tasteless, we had the same flavour ice cream every night. We would stay here again if the food improved and if the numerous cyclists removed their studded shoes when they went into their rooms instead of clomping around so other people didn’t have to hear them. The sound proofing was dreadful in the above rooms and the corridors, also why do hotels have heavy doors that people seem to slam shut!!

Excellent hotel for a cycling holiday base, Myself and a friend have just stayed here for a four day cycling break.
Great hotel with great facilities for cyclists, massive bike locker downstairs with access from hotel directly down. No extra charge just 5€ deposit for key for a lock.
Modern fresh rooms with plenty of room, air con in rooms.
Hotel is spotless throughout and when you get up early the cleaners are everywear cleaning the public areas.
Breakfast is amazing so much choice a great breakfast to fuel your riding. Cooked breakfasts cereals, fruits, breads, freshly cooked eggs juices. We really enjoyed breakfasts here one of the best of the hotels we’ve stayed in.
5 mins walk to restaurants supermarkets and the beach.
Staff are really helpful reception printed some routes out for us no issues.
Also on check out they can store luggage and have a room you can use for a shower. Again free of charge. This is great if you have an evening pick up then you can make the most of your last day and cycle.

Having stayed at this lovely hotel before my second visit did not disappoint. Myself and older son stayed in one of the garden suites, which was so relaxing and great to be able to sit out and see all the guests in the wonderful pool and chill. The hotel is spotless and everyone adhered to the COVID-19 restrictions, masks worn in the public areas . Food is excellent and always fresh ,staff always helpful and courteous. The entertainment staff did an excellent job ,even though not many children were at the hotel. The position of the hotel is only a few minutes walk down to the famous Pinewalk and also the beach . The local market in the square on Wednesday is worth a visit. This is such a lovely resort to visit to either chill or venture to the mountains and explore. Very popular for cycling and would be such a great place to explore. Can’t wait to return many thanks to all the staff at this great hotel 😀

I am not going to rubbish this hotel/experience, however will do some 'trip advising' before you book. Firstly the staff are very good, they try very hard at all aspects of service.
Hotel on arrival is very clean, pool, bar, restaurant and grounds well kept.
However....
Zero sunbeds at 8.30am!! Litrealy non! as towels are allowed to be out on from 7am onwards therfore people secure all their own beds. I am stood here now round the pool, nobody here, hundred beds all with towels on. So we, and I'm sure others, have no where to sit!
Suites are definitely not Suites, children staying on sofa beds (which is fine) with nowhere to hang any clothes, we are walking over each others suitcases. Bathroom OK, no window or ventilation.
Room ok. Outside area A little dirty.
Food at the bar is decent. Restauarnt half board is OK. Lots of good restaurants in the port area with Pollenca old town being the best choice by a country mile. Only 10 minutes bus ride or taxi. All the best restaurants are in the old town. Alhambra being the best tapas not juts in Pollenca but in Mallorca! Very very good
Location is good. Hotel is rammed, very very busy. Pool although full, still enjoyable. However you don't spend a long time in there as its so busy. Entertainment staff do their best to drum up activities for kids (generally younger), which should be applauded.
Due to the facts that there are no sunbeds, not one 😢, rooms are small ( not suites), and it's very very busy I would not return especially in August. That said a slightly quiter period might be best to enjoy this hotel.

This is the second time we have stayed at the hotel. For this stay, our children were 11 and 14. We really love this hotel. The location is perfect for the Pine Walk and beaches. The rooms are very clean and all the staff are very friendly and helpful.
Our children have to follow a strict gluten free diet and the hotel catered easily for this. Lovely warm gluten free rolls and gluten free cereals for breakfast and a great choice in the evening for the buffet. They were given freshly made chips to ensure no cross contamination had occurred.
It was busy when we were there and we didn’t stay by the pool in the day time as we all prefer beach days, but the sunbed situation didn’t look too bad.
Thanks to all the staff for helping to make our holiday so great.

We love this hotel as a family - we're about to book our 3rd visit. Great location, lovely family run hotel, activities all day for the kids where they can choose to join in on particular activities. My son has loved that he's got to know the animation team over the years too. We often see the same people there when we go so I think lots of people return here.
The only downside from my point of view is the depth of the pool - it's 2m at the deep end so that's a bit nervy with kids or with adults who aren't confident swimmers. It's also joined to the kids part of the pool with just a rope separating the shallow bit from the shelf to pretty deep water. Hopefully the hotel will change this at some point.

Puerto Azul the full name is Puerto Azul Suite Hotel in Port de Pollença Mallorca and your room is like an apartment, with views from each three-storey range, we are happy with them all.
The hotel is close to the seafront and the hill walks.
The hotel is always being upgraded, the staff keep it spotless and the grounds are raised in beautiful gardens as the site is slightly inclined, with a delightful aspect over the fabulous pool area.
The hotel is big enough to meet the needs of most visitors, but small enough that the staff are constant and caring giving each repeat visit a sense of friendly intimacy.
The restaurant provides an endless variety of delicious food with a professional and unstinting service in comfort with a touch of class.
The facilities include a vast basement cycle depot for the many groups and teams that base themselves there in the Spring and Autumn, a gym and a sauna and children's play areas.
The activities team are unfailingly enthusiastic, and the evening entertainment is varied and enjoyable, with many top artists on indoor and outdoor stages.
We have visited in the Spring and the Autumn, and the hotel looks just as good at the end of the season as it does at the start.

We ( family of 4) stayed here for 8 days during October break. We found the apartment to be a little small but adequate. Basic shower, 1 bedroom, balcony and two pull out beds, The meals (we were 1/2 board) we buffet style and good quantity but lacked quality. The main problem we had was all the extras we were charged for bearing in mind it’s advertised as 4* !!! We were charged for pool towels, a kettle, all drink at dinner, a safe key it’s crazy as all these add up and acts as a downer on the whole experience! Come on guys don’t try and con your guests just for an extra buck it’s needless and we will not be visiting again.

Hello DWC, we take good note of your comments and will do something to improve in the suggested aspects that you mention, nevertheless we must say this is not a All-inclusive hotel and ti is not our intention to become one of those. We do have a soft-prices-politics instead of food and drinks inside the hotel which many guests for many years appreciate.

We have repeatedly returned to this hotel as it consistently offers and provides an excellent family holiday that suits all generations.
Once again we found the hotel to be evolving to ensure it offers something new each year and this is all down to the dedicated staff.
All staff go out their way to make sure your holiday is meeting your expectations.
The rooms are spacious, cool (even during the 34 degrees heatwave) and cleaned daily to a high standard.
The range of breakfast options is excellent and there is always something that meets everyone’s need at dinner time. We thought the food served at the snack bar at lunchtime (payable) had really improved this year and was very good.
The hotel is only a short walk from the pine walk and sea front so plenty other restaurant options to choose from and to enjoy the beautiful Port. We always feel very fortunate to have found a great hotel in our favourite part of the world.
Our children (and us) enjoyed the wide range of activities and entertainment organised by Rafa, Sven and team for example, foam party, aqua aerobics, white night and French boules etc. Something for everyone and never any pressure to join in if you don’t want to. The kids had an absolute ball and a large part of that is being with their friends and the excellent service delivered by Rafa and Sven.
All staff work extremely hard especially the waiting and bar staff. So friendly and again absolutely dedicated to making sure that you have a great time.
I can never fault this hotel for anything and will hope to return next year.
