Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fantastic service, private tours, cooking classes, bike rides, long tail boats, and a wonderful gallery of illustrations and watercolors painted by our host! Baan Thai Damnoen is a unique "bungalow style" boutique inn located on a photo worthy canal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and getting to know this wonderful little area of Thailand. Natth and Mem are fabulous hosts. Make sure that you do some sight seeing on bicycle. The Inn provides the bikes and there are some beautiful backroads best seen on bike. We feel that our Thai vacation really kicked off here.

Nestled in the midst of a coconut ridden countryside is a lovely little getaway called Baan Thai Damnoen Canal Hotel. The owners are so friendly and speak good English so communication is never a problem. They helped us with transport to and from Amphawa. The rooms are clean and fresh and situated by the canal. The canal boats are busy throughout the day but stop in the evening. Relax by the canal with a drink and homemade food. Rooms have TVs and A/C.

Stayed here one night, had difficulties in locating the property. Natth the owner was very friendly and welcoming. Because I paid by debit card he charged 2% extra! The wifi was working well but he turned it off at night time making communications impossible! The weather turned quite cold but the room was cosy with a comfortable bed. No hot water, not even warm water for the shower!!! The electric device installed was not working, when I complained all I got was "don't you like a cold shower?"if the temperature was really hot maybe yes but I prefer to make my own decisions about the type of shower I take.

This little hotel is run by a couple, Natth and Maan. They are indeed very helpful and sincere. They recommend a few places to visit. Floating market is quite an interesting experience. Maan cooks well. I love the green curry. Yummy! Natth is a talented artist. We managed to have a family coffee painting done by him. The room is clean and quiet. It is an excellent getaway from the city buzz. We chatted as we have our breakfast by the canal. In the afternoon, we even laze around in the garden and row the boat. Natth was kind to send us to the bus terminal to catch a bus to the city. Very personal. Will definitely visit again.

We arrived very late at the Baan Thai Damnoen and were greeted by the owner already when we got out of the car. He gave us a free update to a canal view room, because he wasn't booked out, and was very friendly in showing us around the property and we had some great conversations (we also met him on the Damnoen Saduak floating market the next day where he sells artworks!). The room was absolutely beautiful, very clean, spacious and beautifully furnished. While the next morning the boats on the canal were a little loud, it wasn't a problem at night, we could sleep just fine. Breakfast was tasty and had a huge variety, we had toast and could choose from salad, chicken, porridge and eggs and it was more than enough food. It is also very close to Damnoen Saduak and Amphawa floating markets. We'll hopefully be back one day!

This resort is very nice place to be resting. As this resort is located by canel, it's easy to go to the Damnoen Floating market. The owner is very gentle and kind, and Breakfast is fantastic !! If you stay in calm place around coconut farm. I will recommend this place. But because there is no shop and far from town. you'd better prepare some food and drinks.

Baan Thai Damnoen is very lovely small resort. It’s located on small canal in countryside of Ratchaburi. It’s peaceful and beautiful. Staffs are very friendly. Room is great, spacious and well decorated. Food is tasty. However, the noise of boats is noisy.
