Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

The resort has unique design. You can have a real nature touch when you stay here. Resort was cover by perfectly forest and mountains. But the resort is quite distance from activities place (sheep farm, waterfall, etc.) and restaurants. You must have car. Good hospitality by owner and their staff. Overall are very good. I would rate this property 8/10.

This is one of the best resorts in Suan Phung. Located in a very scenic & peaceful area, not very far away from The Scenery Vintage Farm (further down on the same way). Accommodation is in very pretty French (Provence) cottage style, scattered in a huge garden, full of flowers & trees, surrounded by beautiful mountains. All the cottages are very charming, tastefully decorated, painted in pastel colours & are fully equipped. I stayed there for 2 nights: first night in a cottage named "Sunflower Field" & the 2nd night in "Lavender". Both are very adorable and impressive. They are different in colours & details of decoration, both interior & exterior, but other facilities & amenities are the same. Each cottage has a deck where you can climb up, sit, relax & admire the panoramic view around you, and also a balcony where you can lay back & breathe the fresh air in front of your cottage. There is a nice outdoor swimming pool & a superb restaurant serving high quality food, both Thai & western. I had my dinner there on both days & really enjoyed my stay at this resort. Will certainly go back whenever I can. This resort is highly recommended ! *** Useful tips ***: If you can take a few days' vacation or manage to stay there on weekdays, it will be superb as the resort & the whole town will be very serene, romantic, less crowded and room rates may also be cheaper (depending on the resort's occupancy). Recommend to stay at least 2 nights to really relax & enjoy all the facilities. If you want to stay far away from other people, book a cottage at the end of the garden. But if you want to see more crowd, reserve one near the lobby/restaurant. Don't worry about the distance of your cottage from the lobby/car park as there are golf cars available to pick you up from your cottage & send you back whenver you want.

It's the second I came to the resort and I love it. Quiet, charming and beautifully landscaped. The views from the houses are spectacular looking over the hills. Tippy makes sure you are well looked after and we were lucky in the sense that we have had the place to ourselves. If it's piece and quiet you want this is lovely

Just had dinner here. Very good Thai and western food in a nice atmosphere. Price in line with the food quality B1200 for two incl one beer. Despite the cool evening air, closing the doors to keep the bugs out would be an improvement.

We had a wonderful stay in this charming resort. The overall concept and lay out of the hotel is remarkably well done and even more amazing is the quality of the furniture, fittings, beds and fabrics used. I know it is a "strange" comment but it is so rare to find such a high quality building and design in a place outside mainstream cities. La Provence surely exceed not only small but also large scale establishment in Thailand for that. Probably more importantly is the quality of service we received throughout our stay was wonderful, with great staff and a very hand on owner, which is great to see... The food is excellent too, using many organic products from local production. Property is quite large but there are only 15 rooms (houses should I say) and there is a 1.3km running track going through the resort, which is very pleasant. Bikes are also available. Overall a wonderful stay. We will be back for sure.

The resort is located in the middle of the mountain with great view and beautiful landscape. I enjoy tranquility with birds chirping and singing. It is considered small resort with only 16 villas. The villas are in further distance from the others. It is like living in the mountain village south of France. Surpricingly all of this is not far from Bangkok.
