Please don't be put off by the pictures posted by a previous occupant. This B&B is excellent. The owners are very welcoming but not intrusive. The rooms are very well appointed and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower was hot.

I have just stayed here for 3 nights in a twin room. Such a lovely building. The B&B was spotlessly clean and I was delighted with my room. Lots of lovely little touches. Breakfast was lovely and the owners were very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely love to stay here again.

We stayed for one night over a weekend and it was perfect. The owners were lovely and the room we stayed in was beautiful, with lots of soaps and niceties to make you feel at home. We have already decided we will be returning again soon when we have the time, an all round perfect weekend!

This is a nice little b&b with good quality product. Owners are nice and very helpful. They offered to go bring a package to the post office for me as I could not make it over during opening hours. This shows they really want to assist you. The rooms are nice and good overall quality. Beds are very nice and...

This is our second visit to the Old House, I cannot rate the property highly enough. The owners are attentive and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them. The room was immaculate, the bed and linen were to an exceptionally high standard, very comfortable. As for the breakfast, it's by far the best I've had in any B&B, with...

Found a space in their car park, and then received a lovely warm welcome from Anne, who was standing in for Melanie, including offering us a very welcome cafetiere of coffee. We arrived before official check in time, but as promised (if at all possible) our room was already available so we could freshen up and change as heading off...

The bottom sheet on our bed had holes in it,the ceiling light had a bulb not working. The bath room had a shower...

My husband and I stayed here three years ago when we traveled down from Edinburgh to attend a 21st party. On this occasion it was to attend a funeral. The owners were on holiday and the B&B was being looked after by the lovely Anne. She made us so welcome and by the time we left it was like saying...

“We had a room over the courtyard / parking area, then another overlooking the Bull Inn. Both were nice & spacious. The other room was internal, overlooking the inner courtyard & was also described as nice! The lady using the downstairs room spoke well of that too (Although we didn't see that)! So, little choice to have but a nice room regardless really.”
