Our family farm for the last 60 years and more recently home to Catgill Campsite. Set in an idyllic location with spectacular views across the Wharfe valley, Catgill Farm offers a unique overnight experience on the Duke of Devonshire’s Chatsworth Estate in the heart of Bolton Abbey. We are very excited to announce the arrival of our bespoke luxury Timber Glamping Pods and Bell Tents which are set in a stunning location on the woodland edge with uninterrupted views of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales countryside. Treat yourself to a relaxing and luxurious break and spend the evening unwinding in your private log fuelled hot tub and roasting marshmallows on your large cast iron fire pit. Love pizza? Our fire pits have a built in pizza oven!

A lovely campsite. I enjoyed the more organic way of camping as the campsite doesn't have pitches. The firepits which you can hire make the campsite look beautiful at night, the view of the valley during the day is also beautiful.

Do you accept medium sized motorhomes?
I believe they do. Might have to pay for two pitches but it’s cheap anyways. Enjoy.
