Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park offers a prime beach location with scenic views that many guests appreciate, alongside a variety of activities. However, opinions on cleanliness are divided, with some visitors finding it spotless and others pointing out maintenance issues. The rooms often disappoint due to their outdated decor and lack of upkeep. Guests have experienced a range of service levels, from friendly to unresponsive. Many feel the cost of stay doesn't match the quality, citing extra charges and pricey amenities. The atmosphere is described as a mix of vibrant entertainment and dated facilities.

We have just stayed in Crosswinds, initially disappointed as It was a bit of a walk (for little legs) from our caravan to the swimming pool and beach. So Instead we drove which was no problem for us. As the week went on we realised we had a lot of room in Crosswinds than the other side of the road so glad we were there in the end.
Superior caravan was great, 3 Bedrooms sleeping 2 adults and 4 kids. Comfortable and clean. Can not fault it.
The Nab bar had exceptional quality of food, amazing pizzas, the best mushroom linguini I have ever had. Service was also great. Everything took a little longer but under the circumstances totally acceptable. The park was very geared up for social distances and hand gel, felt very safe.
Harriet was a life guard in the outdoor pool, really helpful and friendly- thank you Harriet for making us mums feel relaxed knowing the kids could swim under your watchful eye. And the other lifeguards of course.
Outdoor pool was heated and very clean, I think the 2 hour slots for swimming is great too you should keep this system up even when things get back to normal, the uncrowded feeling is lovely especially within school holidays. Plus everyone gets a turn in the pools, when it was full we just did something else!
Must give a shout out to Fraser who kindly showed us some “opportunity to buy” caravans as this is definitely the location we’d like to stay again or one day purchase. He’s a very lovely helpful and knowledgeable guy. Thanks Fraser
All in all White Cliff Bay is a Fantastic location, short drive to the south coast beaches, Shanklin and Sandown Plus Day trip to Robin Hill park and Black gang chine. fab break with the kids. Thank you to AwayResorts your customer service is 10/10 ☺️

This site is next to a lovely beach, is a neat tidy site and the entertainment staff are absolutely brilliant. I’d say this place is better for dogs than with small children (there’s no way I could get a buggy down the steep slope to the beach and there was frequently dog mess on the slope. One of the adults in our group got bitten by a dog when walking past their caravan to get to his own opposite it. It was on a long leash and lunged to give his leg quite a deep bite. We did report this to reception and the dog wasn’t there the following day, so I expect the site asked the owners to leave, but I worried about small children on the site after this)
There are two parts to the campsite - either side of a road with no pedestrian crossing. We stayed in the ‘far away’ side the first week and moved close to the camp shop the second week (as when we booked a year in advance we’d asked for 2 caravans together but on arrival were at literal opposite ends of the campsite) which was a much nicer holiday experience- being able to pop out quickly for milk or to the pool which you can’t easily do with small kids from the other side.
The pools are good, as are the beach and camp shop, and there is a lovely kids play area.
Some of my family stayed in a hot tub chalet, the hot tub was maintained daily and kept very clean which they were very impressed with. But the lay out of the chalet was really quite odd, with the only chalet entrance leading through a bedroom in order to get to the kitchen or lounge etc, and the only light switches for the lounge area were outside the sliding doors to the hot tub balcony!
Caravans aren’t usually my thing, so I thought it was a bit pricey. But the beach is lovely, the site is clean and has recycling points and the entertainment is really good.

We had the best 3 nights here. Would really recommend staying in Tribeca village. There is a bathroom, en-suite and the main bedroom has a bath with a tv over it. The kitchen is fabulous and comes with everything you need. The fridge freezer is full size and so is the oven. There is also a microwave and mini dishwasher. You will need to bring toilet paper, hand soap and salt and pepper but they provide tea bags, coffee, sugar, milk, orange squash and biscuits! A lovely touch. There is a shop on site for any essentials. They also provide towels, a hairdryer and WiFi. The TV in the living room is enormous but we couldn’t get Netflix working so I would advise bringing DVDs if you can. The hot tub is fab and is private despite not looking so on the pictures.

The whole place was spotlessly clean. The walk down to the beach is steep but short so well worth it, particularly if you have dry/sunny weather. Near the restaurant there is mini golf and we saw the outdoor pool. Can’t wait to come back in summer and use it! The site is a great base for exploring the island. If you’ve never been to the Isle of Wight before then I would definitely recommend it. Bembridge is a lovely village.

We stayed here for my wifes birthday after seeing on the TV Caravanning with Shane Richie. We stayed in the Rockstar caravan with hot tub.

Excellent accomodation, this and site spotlessly clean, staff from First welcome booking in to bar staff were superb in all respects. Hot Tub use was the cream on top.

We decided to opt for the half board option which was excellent value, all meals were in the normal bistro style restaurant and were of a very high standard. This overlooked the sea in the distance. When we return we will always go for this option. Pic shows breakfast.

A comprehensive Welcome pack was included. Milk tea coffee biscuits, washing up liquid even tablets for the included dish washer.

Just cannot fault anything, even when things in some small way go astray. Staff do their utmost to ensure everything is perfect. An example.... I wanted brown bread for my breakfast but kitchen had none. Manager came over and offered a free coffee. Think this gives an idea of how they really do ensure you feel a valued client.

Just an amazing experience.

From the moment we arrived guest services could not be more accommodating, Kevin and Allison greeted us, explained the site rules on social distancing, since flowers are used to block off areas in the shower room, certainly a lovely touch no red warning signs anywhere to remind you of the outside world. Sanitizer unit on site and soap for hand washing in the shower room.
The Park was clean, shower's hot and heated. Very clean, toilet and shower area.
If I had to make a criticism, if you were taken children you could not afford to eat in the restaurants on site.
We went with a caravan and a couple of dogs, which were also allowed in certain areas in the restaurant, very helpful, was a great break away.

This site is a great location as you can get to Sandown in 15 minutes, Ryde in 20 minutes and pretty much anywhere else in under 40 minutes.

The facilities are amazing for the money. We paid £110 for 7 nights with electric including access to swimming pool, cliff top cinema, private beach and Nab bar restaurant.

Kevin and Alison were absolutely fantastic, and were very helpful throughout our whole week. Their hospitality made you want to wave and chat to them every time you passed. They didn’t even get angry with us when we missed the checkout time and for that we thank them and apologise. They are a total contrast to Ken and June up the road 😂

The site is also very dog friendly. Dogs can eat with their Hoomans in the NAB bar and Kevin and Alison gave our Tessie a treat every time we went past them.

The only thing that is stopping this site getting a 5/5 is that the pitches are not very secluded. The whole touring site is flat with little trees, banks or shrubs. We will definitely stay here again however.

Stayed in a superior chalet with Hottub. Arrived early so we were given our passes so we could use facilities before checking in

On entry we could smell the bleach and could tell it had been cleaned to a high standard

Had a large tv and dvd player and smaller tvs in the bedrooms.

Liked the fact there were sockets by the beds aswell which is very rare nowadays

Shower was nice and warm too

Was surprised to see a kitchen pack consisting of a tea towel, cloth, scourer and a little bottle of washing up liquid

Hot tub was maintained daily by one of the maintenance guys, adding the chemicals and checking the levels

Entertainment was ok considering the difficult circumastances, couple of nights had live entertainment, this included, bingo, a quiz and a live singer. Other nights it was live streaming. Due to Covid and government ruling last orders were called at 9:30 yet some people were moaning because of this, they obviously don't watch the news.

Ate in the restaurant one day and was surprised at how big the portions ere.

Masks had to be worn on entrance to all buildings. A member of staff then guided you to a table and once seated maks were removed. There was no queueing at the bar area and it was table service (one positive thing from Covid I suppose).

Would definitely stay again

This was our first ever family camping trip. We were made very welcome by Allison and Kevin who were friendly and helpful - especially when our dog escaped early one morning! Facilities were spotless with thoughtful touches (eg buckets of flowers where sinks unavailable due to social distancing, hanging baskets at washing up sinks, garden ornaments at entrance etc). Often noticed Alison checking that guests were OK and Kevin helping guide cars/caravans into position.

The main site was clean and tidy. Staff wearing face coverings and frequently washing down facilities. Numbers in pools were understandably restricted but lifeguards worked hard to limit queue times.

We ordered a takeaway from the Nab Bar via telephone which was ready at the agreed time and very nice.

A very enjoyable break.

Fabulous holiday from start to finish
check in and out was quick and easy
Luxury caravan was lovely we had a few minor maintenance issues during the week but reported them to reception and they were sorted straight away by friendly staff
Caravan had been cleaned to a very high standard on arrival by Kirby Kara and Jaz and was lovely
We had a welcome pack when we arrived And even Had milk in the fridge For a cuppa which was a lovely touch
All of the staff were helpful very friendly and caring.
We had Fantastic views in a lovely location with walks, a beach, swimming pools ,pubs, entertainment all within walking distance
although a little bit steep definitely worth it
my absolute favourite place to go is the Isle of Wight I booked this holiday back in January before Covid so wasn’t sure what to expect and was so looking forward to it after having a previous holiday cancelled to Dorset in may.Although it was a little different it didn’t disappoint and we have already booked next year for a return visit We enjoyed it so much
Only negative was that the outdoor pool was closed and the weather was lovely? but apart from that a lovely holiday and would definitely recommend

We stayed for a week on the touring site, just across the road from the main site. Kevin and Allison the wardens were so wonderful, they checked us in and made us feel right at home. They helped up set up our hired motorhome where we weren't familiar with all the mechanisms eg filling the water tank. They lent us tent pegs and a mallet and had a constant supply of beach toys going out to guests. The loos and shower bloand and the washing up area were kept spotless. The pool was lovely, closed for half an hour every couple of hours to deep clean, but times were clear. The pool did not ever feel crowded, this was well managed. Beach has a steep but manageable path (I was able to when our beach wagon with the daily supplies in up and down with a bit of effort). The kids did not want to leave the site. Not all of the activities were on the app so it is worth checking what's on with guest services unless this glitch has been fixed, we only found out about a slime workshop from the screens in the Culver Bar. We took a bus to Sandown to the zoo and to the pier for the arcades and a bus in the other direction to Bembridge but could easily have not left the site for the whole week. We were lucky that the weather was amazing. Food in the Nab bar was good, not many veggie/gluten free/carb free options, but good enough for a quick bite with kids (think burger and chips, menu is downloadable from website anyway). Good adherence to social distancing and hygiene procedures from staff and guests. Our friends stayed in a value chalet and it is true you get what you pay for, It was nice enough but quite small and tired and the bathroom door came off the kitchen directly. We would happily go again.
