Went to Hot Box Spa for a 2 hr session. The Hot Box was lovely but way too hot for me but my partner loved it. He also loved the slide and did it 4 times as did quite a few others. I loved sitting in the Hydrotherapy Pool, drinking Cava in the most beautiful surroundings as the sun was going down - it was bliss. A return visit is definetly on the cards.

I love this place and a great time of year to go at end of November. Terrific Sauna, water slide dunks into cold water and more. Beautiful in the dark with lit up trees, at night. Delicious cake and drinks provided. Would recommend completely.

Absolutely fantastic experience for a men’s group (12 of us). From the moment we arrived we were made extremely welcome by Leah and Emma, who were both very attentive. Such a first class environment with excellent facilities, all and all great value and thoroughly enjoyed by all, we will most definitely be back.

A relaxing and mostly great experience with wonderful facilities. Staff were lovely too but not sure they were totally in control especially on a dark night in freezing temperatures when some guests we’re drinking quite heavily whilst exposed to alternating extreme temperatures.

Stayed 16/11/23 - 19/11/23 Have stayed previously and enjoyed it but this time we were very disappointed. Location- Incredible views and quiet. Accomadation- fairly average not luxury but that doesnt bother us, we did however have issues with the cleanliness in the kitchen and the windows were filthy. Wifi was down on check in and took a few hours to get sorted the Duty manager was friendly and apologetic though. HotBox- We requested robes and slippers (rented) to find they had no robes left only slippers. The facilities were fine however you now need to order from the bar (from previous visits staff used to go round and take your order from wherever you were) the bar was staffed by 1 person making multiple cocktails so took some time and of course we had no robes so it was freezing (it's November) also due to not having a robes you couldn't sit in the seating area to enjoy the views as it was just too cold. At the end we were still charged for the robe and slippers set because we used the slippers. The ferrymans Inn - I can only speak to what I had but was left disappointed, have eaten here on previous visit and really enjoyed the food and was keen to reorder the burger. Starter- Halummi was delicious. Main- moving mountain burger was very dry and bland the chips that I got were nice but as about a third of my portion seemed to be chip scraps from the bottom of the fryer which were very greasy and rock hard I was disappointed. Also worth noting I asked for cheese on the burger to discover on the bill I was charged £2 which although is pretty steep for a slice of cheese I wouldn't of minded so much if it had actually tasted of anything. Side- we shared mac and cheese bites which were just tasteless balls of breaded mush, presumably the same expensive cheese they use on the burger? Worth noting my partner opted for the waygo steak burger and enjoyed it and the atmosphere and views in the resteraunt are pleasant. All in all including a very small 200ml coke and a glass of wine it was a £60 spend and I have to say i have had better meals at weatherspoons. All in for 3 nights and 1 meal £567 (discounted rate due to buliding work full price would be touching £700) The staff were all nice and friendly I just don't think it is good value for money anymore.

Stayed at Taymouth Marina for the weekend, weather was misty, chilly and wet but this only added to the atmosphere. Our apartment (Ben More) was perfectly placed to watch the clouds moving down the loch and the hot tub was great after a days walking. The food at the Ferryman’s Inn is superb, decor is modern, vibe is relaxed. Go smart or casual, you won’t look out of place. The Hotbox Spa was amazing (take flip flops) hot and cold water therapy is invigorating. The lady running our session was funny, informative and very friendly, she even gave us a wee history lesson. In short, Taymouth Marina is a must visit destination. Every member of staff we spoke to were lovely, friendly and helpful. We plan to return in the summer.

It’s a lovely relaxing experience in the hot box spa! Looking out to the loch and enjoying facilities is just fabulous . Everyone must give the famous slide a go! Lots of fun! Staff are friendly and helpful. My only criticism is wish the sessions were longer than 2 hours as we didn’t want to leave!

Well, where do I start. Arrived at the check in time of 4pm, given a map and keys of where to go. We also had to pay an extra deposit of £300 or £500 if you’re bringing a dog to be refunded after 7 days is a bit of a joke but paid it anyway. Got to the accommodation we had a quick look around and it all seemed nice. Surprised to see no welcome pack or anything bearing in mind the accommodation across the river provides a lovely welcome pack with small milk and washing up liquid, salt pepper, small things that make a difference. We only were given one and half loo rolls to last the 3 nights minimum stay… Anyway in the morning we had a shower and the bath filled up as the plughole must have been blocked with hair, not very clean when you’re standing in dirty water. So we did let reception know, so this was not cleared, so again the next morning standing in the water. The bed was also very soft and gave you a sore back.. We did book into the Ferryman’s restaurant, can honestly say the food was absolutely fantastic, the chef does a great job there and the food was amazing. We had soup to start then the salmon as a main, it was delicious so 5stars for the restaurant! The reason we left early was it just wasn’t up to the expectations and all the small things added up to a disappointing weekend. We wouldn’t go back or recommend to anyone apart from the restaurant.

A great day out with old friends. A perfect cycle of hot options and cold dooks… exhilarating! Be prepared for the loch to be breathtakingly cold when you go off the slide. There are no lifeguards as such so keep an eye on each other!

The Hot Box is just the most relaxing and atmosphere. It does hygge perfectly. The staff are so friendly and the facilities are so luxury. The new bar is a brilliant addition. We hopped on over to the Ferryman Inn for an amazing meal too
