My friends and I stayed overnight. It's a beautiful location. I would say the rooms are a little tired in the main hotel but staff are very friendly, food is excellent and views absolutely gorgeous. There is parking in front of the hotel - it was busy but we got a space. Would recommend if you don't mind a room... More

Our stay at Kenmore was a spur of the moment decision. Our friends had stayed 25 years earlier and had fond memories, so we decided to divert and managed to book the last 2 rooms. I would return for the location and service at the hotel, and it was very good value for money £89 for B&b per room including... More

Our group of 20 booked in for a 2 night break. We walked in the front door, and was met with "hi Andy, how are you, great to see you again". The staff seem to be more attentive, and really made you feel welcome. They all came over, to say hello. James in the Poets Bar (from Glasgow), was an... More

I brought my parter here for a birthday treat. The room was wonderful, clean, spacious and elegantly set out. This was the delux room on the corner with a double aspect looking out onto the high street and and church. This is a stylishly quaint hotel. Espoused to be the oldest in Scotland. Some might say it's time for some... More

Hotel set on the river with stunning views from the restaurant (request a room with a river view if possible). Restaurant serves delicious food, try pork belly starter and fish & prawn coconut curry main. Whiskey bar is cosy, love the real fire and downstairs bar has a pool table which is a nice touch. Reception and waiting staff first... More

Had a family lunch here. The setting is superb with the view over the river. The food is pretty basic, with little choice and not that good. Service is also all over the place and was slow. It's a shame as this place could be amazing and provide good gourmet pub food. If it did it would be packed. Hopefully... More

My wife and I have just returned from a two night dinner bed and breakfast stay at the Kenmore Hotel which was a great deal through my hotel breaks .com. On arrival the receptionist ,when she saw my wife was in a wheelchair changed our room from a standard to a disabled room which had a bath as well as... More

The Hotel is a typical Scottish country hotel. It is comfortable but could do with a make over. That said we enjoyed our visit and the food was very good. The Scottish breakfast was very good indeed. I asked for a small edition to the menu and was delighted that they bothered to do this for me. Staff are very... More
