The best part of this hotel is the spa! Great treatments, friendly staff, gorgeous outdoor pool. Restaurant expensive but food great. We were charged £4 for a bottle of tap water! Great views over the bay and comfortable rooms. There was a wedding on when we stayed so I was glad we could escape to the spa's lovely relaxation room.

We stayed for two nights in early May. Very lucky with the weather and were able to have breakfast outside on the terrace both mornings overlooking the beautiful beach. The hotel is very nice but does need some updating in the communal areas. Ate in the main restaurant the first night, absolutely fabulous but second night they were too busy...

Booked with a Wowcher deal so good price. Given superiour double at top overlooking the garden . room very nice although outside door was broken, Reception and porter very friendly. Evening meal very nice and good choice. Train did wake us up early and delivery outside noisy. Breakfast good choice again, waiter thought it "strange" we did not want coffee...

My husband has mobility issues but does not use a wheelchair. We booked a 3 day break via Groupon and we also paid extra direct to the hotel to upgrade to a sea view room. We did not want a ground floor room as there was no sea view and we were concerned that the room would not be in...

A well overdue review but I have to say that our stay at Carbis Bay was excellent. A deal bought from travelzoo did make me a bit nervous in regards to the standard to be expected, but once we were there, I knew there was nothing to be worried about! The location was beautiful and the dinner included in our...

We visited on a mini break. Our room was nice but unfortunately we were disturbed throughout the night with banging doors. Our shower next morning was lukewarm too. We moved rooms next day to a smaller room on 2nd floor which was ok. Restaurant food was good as was breakfast. Conservatory was a little run down but the location is...

There are much nicer places to stay in St Ives for a much better price. The communal hotel areas are tatty and there are not enough staff. Needs a lot more attention to detail. We stayed in the self catering apartments which were very well equipped in the kitchen, much more so than many other self catered apartments we have...

A hotel with tremendous range of facilities. Idyllic setting overlooking the Atlantic, with useful access into St ives, via the local rail way.( a 5minute journey!) The Beach restaurant was particularly enjoyable, overlooking the sea in pleasant ambient surroundings and with good food and exceptional service - what more could you want. The Spa area was delightful, again with a...

Top of the range facilities and extremely friendly staff. The Hot tub, Sauna, outdoor swimming pool (whilst not a large pool) was delightful with plenty of sun loungers and resting areas both indoors and outside. The views were magnificent overlooking its own private beach. Strongly recommended if you are looking to spoil yourself.
