We booked this believing we were staying in the Palace -- actually we stayed in a gate house on the Palace grounds but not in the castle itself. That said, the setting is unique in that after the tourists left the castle and the staff went home from the restaurant, we had the place ourselves. The bedroom is good although...

A glorious way to spend your holidays indeed. The castle has so much to offer and the tower rooms take you centuries back in time. So wonderful for kid as well. Breakfast is so yummy and served in the room by very kind staff. Highly recommended by both us and our daughter!
