Stayed here for a day in the standard double cottage when the name of the place was Himalayan View Cottage. The cottages are small and cozy. Food was ok and the service was good. Had got the cottage facing the snow covered mountains and the view was brilliant, especially at dawn and dusk with the golden peaks. Room heater was...

This rural setting gives inner peace to someone coming from an urban setting, specially the one looking for a complete relaxation, the moment you reach this place you feel cleansed, the air is so pure with a fragrance of plants mixed with that of earth and a coldness, thanks to the tea plantations besides this resort. I travelled with family...

This is one of the best places to stay in Kausani. The service is very prompt and good and the staff very friendly. They have a restaurant where the cook serves meals according to ones taste(You can ask him to cook to suit your palate). It is situated just above the tea gardens so one can take a stroll in...

Moreover the staff is very helpful and friendly. The garden is beautiful. The cottage and hut rooms are nicely decorated and give you a pleasant stay. Only drawback...

Kausani is small village with very few hotels. While our trip to Kausani, we stayed at Kausani Village Resort. The hotel seems just like small village with wooden cottages, standard cottages and Machaan Houses. We stayed in standard cottage made of thatched roof with bamboo walls, like any traditional hut found in the villages. Each hut is offering uninterrupted view...

This is the best hotels to stay in Kausani. The property is Government owned (KMVN) but it is excellent considering the location. It is the only hotel in the entire Uttarakhand to offer a spectacular view of the Panchachuli Range of the Himalays consisting of the famous Nandadevi and Trishul Peaks. An entire range spanning 350 Kms of snow capped...
