We had such a beautiful, relaxing time at Narrows Escape for our honeymoon. We stayed for 5 nights in Wagtail and it was absolutely superb! We loved the fireplace, spa and freshly baked croissants every morning. Thank you so much and we absolutely loved our time at Narrows and exploring Montville.

We were rerouted by our travel company to avoid Cyclone Debbie and found ourselves at Narrows! What an amazing place. Our only regret is that we were only there for one night. Mark and Joanne welcomed us warmly and helped us to our cabin where we were greeted by parrots feeding next to our verandah. The cabin was superb, with...

We stayed here on our wedding night and then for a few extra days. Such a perfect and luxurious little escape after the chaos of a wedding. The Kookaburra cottage was private and had a beautiful view of the creek running along the front balcony. The kitchen facilities were great and we loved receiving our freshly baked croissants each morning!

Going away from busy Brisbane and driving towards Montville was a great experience. You slowly fall into a relaxed state and are able to enjoy all the landscapes on offer. Arriving at Narrows escape is quite interesting, down a steep road and surrounded by tall trees and the smell of the rainforest. We were warmly greeted upon our arrival and...

The accommodation was beautifully presented including soothing music on arrival. Everything was catered for and nothing was too much trouble. Quiet and peaceful. Chocolates and complimentary glass of port. Wonderful

Staying at the Narrows Escape Rainforest Retreat was an exceptionally relaxing and beautiful experience. We were met by hosts Mark and Joanne Skinner and showed our cottage set in the rainforest near the creek. Soft music and lighting immediately helped us unwind. A basket of fresh local produce was in the kitchen for our breakfast the following morning. The best...

We stayed 4 nights at Wagtail and will unreservedly recommend a stay here. The wooden cabin had all you required to be comfortable and private. The birds are clearly in their element here and made the overall impression an idyllic one. The morning croissants were excellent and so was the local produce included in the fridge and breakfast basket. We...

Loved everything about it. The wooden cabin was luxurious. The peaceful music and soft lighting which greeted us set the scene perfectly. There was absolutely everything we could gave wanted and more. The bathroom is gorgeous, the bath robes so soft, the jacuzzi bath was great fun, the picnic breakfast hamper was wonderful, but the most amazing was the beautiful...

friendly hosts, peaceful setting, wonderful weekend escape with everything you'd ever need. The wildlife and freshly baked croissants were an unexpected bonus. The free shuttle to the pub was also really handy. Highly recommend!
