The location is great, by the lake. The rooms are of a good standard with what you would expect to be provided for the price. Staff are friendly though do not necessarily go beyond the norm to help. However, be aware that on some days (and which ones seem unclear) food in the evening is not always available or if... More

I arrived for the weekend for 3 nights and reserved at least 2 months in advance. I received an old room which has not been renovated since the 70's, which looked nothing like the rooms they advertise on line. The room was situated on the ground floor so I could not open the window. The AC made noise like a... More

Beautiful "castle" that is very well used to make it an excellent place to meet, wine and dine. Business rooms and facilities serve very well. Hotel rooms are well kept and comfortable beds and showers. And the lake walk is a nice bonus as a compliment for long days around meeting tables.

I had booked the Heron Suite. Upon arrival I discovered that the little view of the lake was hidden behind a garbage van. Staff was very kind and gave me another room on a higher level (not a suite) The beds are awful!!! As I'm suffering of severe back aches, we cut our stay short to 1 night because of... More

Situated 30 minutes outside Bruxelles this pearl of a hotel has a stunning view of the Genval Lake. Very large rooms and paying the supplement for a room with a view is a must. Brand new bathrooms, in-room safe and free wifi, writing desk and extra sofa, chair and an iron. Terrasse restaurant very small for such a big hotel... More

I was there for a business event and there were two problems that are unacceptable at this level of price: The catering did not bring additional glasses for the drinks when needed (there were no glasses left, I saw several people drink water in coffee cups), they also had chosen highly perishable sandwich topping in the hot weather, which brings... Spent 1 night here and was very impressed with the hotel. It is outside of Brussels in a beautiful country setting next to a lake in a residential area. The hotel has a health club and nice grounds and a very nice bar and restaurant. We had dinner outside on the terrace which was quite good and a lovely setting.... More

What a fantastic hotel! We were meant to stay at Manoir Du Lac but got upgraded to the Chateau. The room was fantastic, four poster bed, sofa and huge bathroom. Got some free slippers too. As it is based on the lake, we had a lovely evening walk around the lake. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

The hotel is beautiful and very well located in front of the lake. You can therefore take nice walks and also visit different restaurants near the hotel. The convenience is perfect. The rooms are not open at least the room I was in, there was a pillar in the middle that seemed misplaced and somehow suffocated the room. The technology... More
