Our walking group held our 'Christmas ' lunch here on Friday. There were about 40 of us and we had mostly chosen to have carvery which we pre-booked. This proved to be well organised and delicious. The meats - beef, turkey, pork and ham - were all excellent. They had also catered for a few vegetarians. My only complaint (...

Stayed here while walking the Thames path. Nice room, a little small, but with a big bathroom. Very old building, so be aware of the uneven floors and steps. Breakfast was tasty, but I didn't eat much because I had a long walk ahead of me.

What a great place to enjoy a superb Sunday carvery. Well cooked & delivered with a genuine smile. Highly recommended if you ever visit Cricklade. Well priced & very generous servings washed down with a good selection of fine ales

Last-but-one stop on the walk from Oxford to the source of the Thames, and we were ready for a break, refreshment and maybe some entertainment. The food was lovely - a pie to die for, the beer and wine were good, and there was even live music and a quiz for those with excess energy. The shower in the room...

Visited this hotel whilst driving back from Swindon. Nice seating and service. The lunchtime menu wasn't extensive but was fine with enough choice for us. My wife had the ham, egg and chips and she thought the ham in particular was delicious. I had the local sausages which, again, were excellent. The beer was lovely too!!! Recommended.

Booked this hotel for a one night stay for my wife and me as I was taking part in a cycling event nearby. The hotel caters for people with Coeliacs which my wife has, we arrived at lunch time and I ordered a typical bar lunch of Scampi and Chips which I have to say was excellent. We booked a...

Set in a quaint little village the White Hart is an excellent place to stay, surrounded by beautiful churches and the Thames river it makes for a brilliant photographic opportunity. That is not the best of it, the staff of the hotel go over and above the call of duty to make your stay not just a stay but an...

Brought here for Sunday lunch and wasn't disappointed. We all had food from the carvery which had 4 meats on, Beef, Gammon, Pork and Turkey. I tried some turkey and pork, both very good, right amount of cooking and right amount of fat on the pork. I liked the idea of 'Cricklade' puddings as opposed to Yorkshires! Good selection of...

We received excellent service and food that was of the impeccable quality. My wife's buffalo steak was of the highest standard as was my rump steak These were served on a hot stones and this allowed us to cook them to meet our own requirements. The Stilton and pepper sauce was to die for. We thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Fine hotel to have an overnight stay. Great location for Thames Path. Very friendly staff. Most welcoming. Food in pub was adequate for two hungry walkers. Room was a little tired but again adequate. Breakfast was extra for a cooked meal but ideal when setting off walking again.
