Cosy traditional pub, small wooden floored rooms, friendly and good local ales. Big TV in the back room for live sport while front room is more for a drink and a chat. This pub doesn't look great as you glance thru' the front door but take a chance and go in, we did and had a fantastic night

Just time to pop in for a taste of their own beers - quite good (Prospector @ 4%) but I found the pub a bit noisy (loud music) although it did have a good "alehouse" feel to it. I will go back again when I have more time and try their other beers.

I went in here a couple of times during my stay in Lechlade, a proper real ale pub with wooden floors and a selection of ales from local micro brews. The staff and clientele were friendly the ales in decent condition and at a decent price for the area.

Great fun old school pub. Has regular live music events, Quiz Nights & shows football on the large screen tv. Has a great pool table along with a vintage table fusbal, quiz & fruit machine and a dart board. Great ales are available on the pumps from the attached microbrewery. They're also now available to takeaway in bottles & bag... More

Spent a couple of very enjoyable hours at the Crown supping cider. Very quaint down to earth with very friendly locals. They have a superb juke box and I was given a few strange looks when I put 3 Level 42 tracks on. This pub is awesome.

An incredibly welcoming pub that combines good beer with and warm welcome. The locals were very kind in that when informed we were undertaking a fifty mile walk for charity they passe round the hat to boost funds. Kind gesture. An ideal venue to unwind, take on fliud for the next day's walk!

This is what a local pub should be like, wooden floors, dart board, pool table, proper bar and .......... Locals. A pity about the local brewed beer though where the summer ale doesn't taste of summer at all. In fact they all taste the same. Sorry Benny.

I simply LOVE this pub! I've visited many times now, and it still has the WOW factor for me! The micro-brewery has recently been revamped so the pub is brewing it's own ales again, and what fabulous ales they are! The staff are friendly and welcoming & happy to talk between serving customers. The pub is extremely popular with locals... More

“The rooms are at the rear of the beer garden, so be aware in the Summer months you may have to put up with chatter and laughter from people in the garden, but this ends as soon as the pub closes, and it is a lovely location so is a small price to pay.”
