Lovely friendly hotel in a very interesting village. The local car park was busy so we paid to put the hire car in the hotel garage. Our bedroom was very clean with a very comfortable bed and lovely modern shower. As usual in Spain, I bought my travel kettle. Breakfast was truly amazing. We came to walk and used Walk!...

Such a nice hotel! New, good bed, perfect shower with a lot of pressure and huge choise for breakfast. This is mountain-luxury ;) Perfect place to stay when you want to explore the Alpujarras. Only thing we didn't like was the pool being so freezing cold, but maybe this is because it was september. Muchos gracias hotel Estrella de las...

We stayed here twice; the first time we were so impressed we booked it for our walking group holiday this year. The staff were unfailing friendly and helpful, the rooms spacious, comfortable and well equipped, and the breakfasts gargantuan. The restaurant 200m away, run by the same family, provided excellent dinners. The area is great for walking, with paths, mountains,...

Family run hotel. Very welcoming. Lovely room with a small balcony. Pool looked great. The breakfast was a big buffet. Hmm 200 characters minimum. The mirrors made me look thin..not something I look for in a hotel you understand but a nice bonus all the same...

Stayed one night with a group of friends to explore the village and surrounding area. The hotel was exceptional, located at the top of this small (and steep) village; very well heated rooms with personal controls, spacious modern and spotless bathroom with good shower, nice personal amenities. My second floor room had a small terrace, but was a bit too...

Great town for an overnight during my walk on the gr7. This hotel is newish and is situated near the top of the town. It has a nice atmosphere and the rooms are simple and clean. Nothing special or fancy but it fit the bill for me. The best part was the extra friendly receptionist who helped me chart my...

Spent just one night at this hotel. Very nice welcome from the staff. The room was clean and comfortable, with good television and free wifi. Good location close to a good restaurant with good food and reasonable prices. Steep walk down to the centre of the village, but this is normal in this area. Underground parking for €6 per night,...

We stayed a couple of nights during a fortnight on the coast by way of a break from the September heat. I had pre-booked the hotel on the basis of previous reviews, and am delighted to report that it more than lived up to expectations. It is set just above this gorgeous village, on the main road to Pitres, so...

I found this hotel after reading the Trip Advisor reviews for hotels in the Alpujarras region of the Sierra Nevada. It sits on the side of a mountain about 3000 feet above sea level. This meant that the drive up from the E15 motorway down on the coast was up a very winding road but on the plus side it...
